Don't the citizens know about Shredder, Bebop, and Rocksteady?
 

The main villains have been featured on the news dozens of times, yet the new yorkers act like they never seen them before. Sometimes Shredder and his mutants can casually walk around the city, and not one person will call the cops.

If you saw a mutant warthog and a rhino armed and dangerous walking through NYC, would you really be the guy to involve yourself? The same goes for the police :lol:

The citizens are dumbasses. They see the turtles fight OFF the villains and then they get triggered and think the turtles are evil. Just like real life. People are so retarded

The show was constantly all over the place in regards to the public's knowledge or lack there of. In the episode "Shredder's Mom" people were well aware of Shredder and Krang's existence but seemed to have forgotten entirely about the Turtles themselves.

Which is how it should be but it isn't due to the continuity errors throughout the show. Still a good toon though, they do talk about the other episodes and sometimes fix the errors but there are quite a few when it comes to publicity
