theres a tons of characters expanding over all series of TMNT but if you could create a new one what would it be? look like? it's backstory?

I think I'd look to the X-Men roster for inspiration; Old Hob is TMNT's Magneto, and it's astonishing in retrospect that we hadn't had someone like him until now.

I think I'd try for a TMNT "mutant messiah", a self-loathing mutant bent on eradicating his own kind (although Leatherhead might be heading down that road in IDW), or a former Foot Mystic that stands on her own as an established threat independent of the Foot Clan. Lady Pimiko, just to keep the name and ponytail. :tlol:

Or how about a street preacher forced to question his beliefs when the mutants take center stage? Not an antagonist, that trope is overdone. But as a recurring ally on the streets, possibly targeted by the Purple Dragons...

I once imagined "Chet" as he's known as a sort of mixed Mr. Freeze and Garra knockoff I referred to as Zachary (AKA Ringworm, who could control worms and the earth) in the wake of my previous dogs death...and that happened on the day that the 2007 TMNT film hit theaters nonetheless. I imagined him as an assassinated veterinarian who died trying to save his beautiful dog who's seeking "justice" beyond the grave until the TMNT get involved and learn their connection to him. Unlike me, he had a target to go after and it was a bit of a solace to imagine that at the time.

i had one called Paper Man. The name sounds lame but he was a mail man who came in contact with mutagen delivering to TCRI his skin was turned into the while of the envelope he was holding. seeking revenge on the company he tries to blow up TCRI. He see's the turtles and upon finding out the mutagen changed them too he tries to get them to aid him in his conquest but they thwart his plans. and he becomes their enemy as well.

after the failed TCRI takeover he sets out to "whiteout" the world. Taking advantage of a inbalance in the atmosphere and making an absence of color in the city and eventually trying to destroy the sun. (Him being as white as he is and his new biomolecular structure he does not need the sun to survive)

Other powers include the ability to travel through paper. He can trasport himself into book, letters, magazines, ect. And into written word on the page and if you read it he is in your head and has control of you.

I've had an idea for Krang's mother (IDW centered) for a while. My personal take is she was his predecessor as General, and at some point during his youth, she vanished. Either MIA or KIA. Ceres and I have both made different takes, and now we've formed bubble universes where they know each other and are best/good friends/"good friends", wherein one or the other is the mother.
Still want IDW to come up explanation for her absence in the main story, though. Bobby said they hadn't even thought of her, and considered that she might still be alive in Dimension X. Which sounds to me like a slip of a future storyline where other Utroms are found in Dimension X.

Actually, I've had lots of ideas for Utrom characters. Obligado' new age hippie partner that's young enough to be his daughter and is a Linguistics expert, a new initiate to the Preservi, all the side characters relating to them. Also, a Neutrino nurse-midwife.

There's a pair that I haven't named yet or fully developed, but they're inspired by the idea of mutagen falling in a Florida swamp and mutating several animals. Surely it couldn't have just been Leatherhead and the Punk Frogs...so I added a Raccoon and an Opossum. Just when they thought everything was cleared up and okay, the Opossum reveals she has a bunch of babies. Pretty much just 'Florida swamp hillbilly Opossum with too many kids and her best friend". They'd just be for fun, though. Hob might try to get them into the Mutanimals, but they wouldn't be interested.

Then something I'll probably never initiate: making fun of the Venus/new turtles concept. But with two baby turtles that get mutated by accident when the TMNT are all technically adults. Splinter tells them that it's their responsibility to train the new tykes. They're named Frieda and Pablo by Michelangelo. After modern, Spanish-speaking artists. As annoying as that break to the trend is to the others, they can at least be comfortable that they complete the primary/secondary color wheel. Green for Frieda and yellow for Pablo. Though they fight over the colors from time to time.

I can't think of any ideas.

Kinda hard to think of what animal they haven't yet used. We've never seen a mutant ferret before, so that might be funny to see. I could see Michelangelo naming it Nibbles or something silly like that.

These are toy based ideas for the old toyline mixed in with some lore stuff

Inspired by the cancelled playmates godzilla toy, this mutant is half dinosaur and half trash! His arms are replacable, allowing for all types of crazy weapons to be attached to him.

-Meowstyrio!
An intergalactic masked wrestler that bears a striking resemblence to an earthly cat! His pure blue and black fur gives him an otherworldly appearence while still retaining the basic look of a feline. His cybernetic enhancements allow for an advantage in matches!

-General Gramp!
This wizened Neutrino commander has seen his fair share of battles, but it doesn't stop him from kickin' the stones off Rock Soliders! Gramp is a survivor of a mutagen based experiment conducted by General Tragg, leaving half his face covered in rock! Gramp comes with more than enough weapons to aide the fight for Dimension X!

Shredder's latest experiment didn't turn out exactly like he planned. A regular snail snuck onto the lab floor and accidentally mixed itself with a dimension x creature known as the Xackitlanatana! The result is a terrifying creature with the shell of a snail and the face of an insect! Tentacles and stingers portrude from the shell and nearly everywhere else on this scary snail! (Can be used with the ooze toy similar to muckman and mutagen man)
