New Foot Clan Mutants in the next reincarnation?
 

Shredder has Bebop & Rocksteady as his main henchmen mutants. Of course, Tokka & Rahzar appeared in the 1991 movie.

In 2003, there were no mutant henchmen of Shredder but Hun.

Then in 2012, there are new mutants - Fishface & Dogpound (later becoming Rahzar) and then Tiger Claw (taking over Old Hob's eye). Bebop & Rocksteady then make a return later.

If there is a new TMNT series someday, if Shredder has a different league of mutants at his side, what new mutants do you picture him having as his minions?

I picture Shredder's own mutants to be something like the 2003 Shredder's elite guard. But in this case, four mutants against the turtles. Each in their own style of ninjutsu but mixed in a random fighting style.

My four mutants:
- Spider: In human form, he uses nets to act like spider webs, but also wields a kusarigama to act like a scorpion's tail. But later mutates and shoots nets like a real spider to trap his enemies.
- Chameleon: Stealth camouflage. But later in mutant form, he uses the chameleon's ability to his advantage.
- Skunk: Smoke/toxic bombs. But later as a mutant skunk, he uses the skunk's stench.
- Hyena: I think Rahzar should return as a hyena. But he'll be more psychotic who enjoys toying/torturing his victims. Tell that to a hyena's laugh.

Good choices, but I'd personally like to see the four from IDW as his 'four heavenly generals' type deal. Bebop and Rocksteady on land, then Koya and Armaggon/Bludgeon for sea and sky.

I would imagine taking advantage of New York's "other" pests. Like a Possum and a Raccoon to parallel Splinter.

I think most future incarnations will just go back to Bebop/Rocksteady again. That's what both Nick and IDW eventually did anyway. Over the years they're tried to replace them with Rahzar/Tokka, then Dogpound/Fishface, then Bludgeon/Koya...but they always go back to Bebop/Rocksteady.

At this point no possibly future mutant duo will ever takeover Bebop/Rocksteady's mantle.

2003 broke the Bebop & Rocksteady mantle.

But four elite ninja mutants in Shredder's force will be awesome! Bebop & Rocksteady will return as mutant mercenaries. Koya can return as Shredder's pet mutated and leading the four elite mutants or Bebop & Rocksteady.

Anyway, there has to be some animals that can represent a ninja's ability.

How about we have Alopex working for Shredder for a while, until she switches side and joins the Turtles.

Alopex can fit.

IDW's mutants working for Shredder were just temporary. Alopex's stint with Shredder was short lived, as is Koya/Bludgeon.

Only Bebop/Rocksteady, and now Rahzar/Fishface and Tiger Claw are Shredder's long running mutant henchmen.

Still the next incarnation of TMNT should be four new mutants to match the turtles.

But Bebop & Rocksteady making a comeback.

Four ninja turtles vs four ninja animals.

Koya and Bludgeon are still firmly allied with the Foot Clan, however. They are simply in Japan with Karai.

They're still mostly out of the picture for now, and as said with Shredder gone they're not exactly working for him.

That being said, I don't think Koya/Bludgeon will become staple characters in future series, or even be remembered as Shredder's mutants.

Tiger Claw was cool replacing Old Hob. Koya can return.

And if Rahzar returned next series, would you all see him return as a wolf again? Or a dog back when he was Dogpound? Or a new canine... rather go for a hyena.

Anyone else have thoughts of what new mutants should join Shredder without replacing Bebop & Rocksteady?
