I think this board could use a little more creativity

Okay guys, this is probably the BEST forum i've ever been to, but that doesnt mean the owners aren't going past me without some critisizm!

So, like, this is a TMNT board, right? Let's throw in some TMNT Creativity.

You know the icons for the forums and the threads?

Instead of being boring old tan and pink folders, let's throw in the TMNT faces!
For example:

No new posts - http://irev.net/mtn889/Don.bmp

New posts - http://irev.net/mtn889/Leo.bmp

Locked topic - http://irev.net/mtn889/Raph.bmp

If you likey the idea, i could make even BETTER stuff.

This is a suggestion, feel free to comment

Give me an hour, and I'll give you icons better than those...

good. YAY!

A Krang icon would be good for a locked topic.

Here's what I had in mind:

Shredder Masked = New posts
Shredder Unmasked = no new posts
Krang = locked topic

As far as the sticky/announcement icons go, I have no idea.

well we should ask krang... maybe he would do it.

[revised, sry krang]

Chill dude, Krang's a busy guy in real life, and this isn't the only site he runs. Instead of demanding more from him, we should try thanking him for what he's already done for us here.

geez

Can't say that I disagree. We should be thankful for what we've got, not complaining about it.

Suggestions are always welcome here, but give Krang some time to process your request. I, for one, think your icons look cool, MTN889. But not everyone might view things the same way. :)

"Pick door number three, pick door number three!" - Raphael, from "Leonardo Lightens Up"

Amen

oh... mah bad then... Krang if ur reading this then sorry...

Good idea, but this site is called The Technodrome, so icons of the turtles wouldn't really fit. Reznorite's suggestions would work better as long as the icons are from the original cartoon rather than the new one.

And BTW, yelling at me is not going to get a reply from me any faster, especially less than 3 hours after your other post. I don't have time to monitor this site constantly, so if you're going to request or suggest something, have some patience.

ops sorry...
still you think it might be a good idea? would you consider it?

Why not just use these? :khappy: :shredder:

Yes! That's perfect use it!

I don't know, it could be fun for awhile, but I like the basic look.

Because we'd need more than 2, that's why.

Like I said, I'll get to work on it sooner or later, just leave it to me.

Just as long as they are easy to understand for everybody, sounds cool!

me too
