http://cube.ign.com/articles/455/455939p1.html Im a FAN with capital F-A-N, so Im buying the game..TWICE (Cube and PC) But Im starting to feel this is a badly made game :( Final verdict 5.3 Very nice though that in every review on other sites the readers reviews are 8.0 or higher. |
Oh well, you will always have one bad review
I like the sound of Splinter and Casey modes :D So we get to play the game as Casey Or Splinter aswell |
IGN 5.3
Gamespot 6.5 EGM 5.0, 6.0, 7.0 |
Yeah well, i find that alot of games get bad reviews that end up good, and alot that get good reviews tend to suck
|
I don't get it..
This game is the same as the old ones, but in 3D, and they hate it. Mario 3 is the same as the old one, with SNES graphics and they love it. What's going on? |
As much as I hate to admit, it basically is true; it is just a simple button basher. To be honest, I wouldn't play this game if it wasn't TMNT...But, I've always wanted to see a 3D TMNT game, I'll get this.
I knew from the start this wouldn't go down in history as a classic video game, but for us TMNT fans, 3D foot-bashing is al we need, innit? :) |
Who cares what the reviews say. It's TMNT, it's 3d, and it's a video game. What else is there to say?
There's nothing like a good button masher. |
Like I said in the other thread, these reviews do amaze me. They claim to be fans of the old games, but think this game is too simple or repeatitive. I think they should play the old games again.
Yes, the game will not be a classic like Zelda or Metal Gear solid, but it is great fun, especially for the TMNT fans. |
agh... i can't get it today! Im failing 3 classes so i have to stay at this "special retard" thing after school which lasts for like 2 hours, and im not even retarted!
Actually, its called study center. |
if people want complex games play rpg's this is supposed to be a fighting game what did you expect.I mean come on.
|
they can be fans of the old games, but youve got a higher standard these days. they have to review it on its own pros, mostly ignoring the tmnt liscence. that being said, i still really wanna play it.
|
Well, I haven't gotten it yet (though I've played the PC demo!), but you've got to take any review's rating with a grain of salt, especially for a TMNT game. It's not going to be an overly complex game, and it's certainly not going to reinvent any genres. From the little I've played, I can say this: the fighting system and graphics are simple and straight-foward, it's a total button masher, and it's a hell of a lot of fun. Exactly like the old arcade game and the NES/SNES games were back in the early 90s.
I can't wait to get my hands on a copy of the GC version. Playing a TMNT game on a Nintendo console? Like being nine years old again. :) |

A PAID FAN BOY!! i tell u something, they have 2 categories for games, this is the way they see it: 1 video games: they are good as long they have blood and they are rated M, if the game sucks but it has unnecesary violence, it gets high score anyway, if it doesn't have blood or rated M then its all kiddie, even if it was rated for teens, it was programmed for retards, if the game is good and it is rated M then they'll tell u to buy it 3 times for the same console 2 video game licences: they all suck except for golden eye |
