Is the GBA version the same as the others?
I know the graphics are not gonna be the same but is the GBA version a different game? I'm just wondering because I would pick this up if it's different.

It's a different game.

it is much different.

From what I see of it, it looks something between the style of the first and second NES game styles.

GBA is a good game too. It's a side-scrolling beat-em-up, and it's really fun.

I can vouch for that because I just, uh, "acquired" it recently, and I'm down to one turtle scenario left...I'm just waiting to see what happens when all 16 acts are complete. |
I love the GBA version. It kicks ass!

I beat it on Easy.. To get the full ending, do I have to beat it on Normal or Hard?
|
Yeah, definitely. I bought the gameboy advanced one in addition to the PS2 one, and I have to say they are both very entertaining in their own way. The animation and controls are top noch on GBA, and the graphics are great for a GBA game. The music is nice, and during one of the cutscenes in Mikey's scenario there is a song that hints at the old tmnt theme song. Sounds cool.

Actually the "vctory" music after you have finshed it with one turtle reminds me of the old TMNT theme.

I love it. It's actually not as much like the original TMNT side-scrollers as many had expected. It plays a heck of a lot like Battletoads with hint the first Naruto GBA game (powering up for attacks and moving swiftly through areas).
The sprites look very similar to the Genesis Tournament Fighters sprites. Leonardo - He's typical but you can swing your swords in all directions Mike - His always swinging his nun-chucks, he can actually throw them when he does a charge up move Don - Lots of good use of his bo staff. Those familiar with Turtles in Time and the Hyperstone Hiest will remember his flying kick Raph - His moves are insane! He's even got the slide kick back! |
