Removing head from original Metalhead
 

Has anyone ever removed the head from an old Metalhead figure?

Will heating it up with a hair dryer pop it off?

The old figures heads weren't on ball pegs so popping them off is not an option. Instead you have to crack the torso open to get the head and even the arms off. The easiest way I've found to do it is by removing the legs which are on ball pegs and sticking two small screw drivers in each whole and prying in opposite directions. If you do it that way there's little to no damage to your figure. Be carefull because the arms and head will go flying away from you.:lol:
