To any PS2 player who has gotten Casey in Story Mode....
 

...how do you unlock Casey in Story Mode? I have heard from a number of people that say you can make Casey playable in Story Mode, but none of them know exactly what they did to get him. If you have the PS2 version of the game and have been able to get Casey in Story Mode, please post what you did you get him.

I thought he was only available on the gamecube

Although, I think hes available in VS mode on the PS2

you have to beat the game with all four turtles to unlock challenge mode, and then you have to beat challenge mode with mike. that unlocks casey in ps2 and xbox.

What skill level do you have to beat Challenge Mode on???

On another forum, some guy said he got it by:

"Beat Challenge Mode on Easy with Raphael in under 20 minutes."

"Beat Casey Jones CPU in VS Mode with Hamato Yoshi."

This is so frustrating. I've beaten Challenge Mode on easy once with Raphael, twice on easy with Michelangelo, and once on normal with Michelangelo. I've fought Casey in Vs. Mode with Hamato Yoshi. I've tried everything that I've read, but still nothing. Either everybody that says they have Casey in Story Mode is lying or you have to do something completely different than what has been said.

If you do unlock Casey in Story Mode, does his name just appear under Splinter's when you go to Story Mode?

well i just beat challenge mode with mike cause i read somewhere thats how you do it, and it said i got that hamato yoshi guy, and i went and checked story mode like it said, and it worked. theyre not lying, i dont know why it wont work for you. i never faught with yoshi in vs mode either. so we know that didnt work.. uh... i have the xbox version though, so it may be diffrent for xbox and ps2. good luck tho

and yes his name apears under splinter in story mode.

Maybe you have to beat Challenge Mode with a different turtle for each system to get him.

Or maybe you have to get a certain number of scrolls.

Or maybe you have to beat it with Splinter.

Or maybe you have to play the game a certain number of hours.

Or maybe....this is driving me insane!

Well I was just playing and I beat Challenge Mode on Normal setting and then it gave me Hamato Yoshi so I decided to play with him in VS Mode and I played a few matches with him and then I went into to story mode and was shocked that Casey Jones story was there! :o I played first Hun vs Hamato and won. Then Hamato vs Splinter and lost Splinter whooped me. I don't know if that might help but I did beat chalenge with Mike and thats they only time ive beaten challenge mode.

so if you beat the challenge mode (which I cant do... DAMN YOU BAXTER.) you get yoshi.

Yeah baxter can be a pain in the butt. Just use exploding sherukins to get him dead. Unless your donny or mike. Sometimes mike doesnt work to good due to the guns he has so sherukins are your best bet.

Well, I have gotten him now. The only pattern I can see as to what people are doing to get him is that Challenge Mode has to be beaten (at least once) and then you have to play with Hamato Yoshi in Vs. Mode (more than once). I didn't get Casey until I had beat Challenge Mode with Raph once on easy, Mikey once on easy, Don once on easy, and Mike on normal. Then I played as Hamato Yoshi in Vs. Mode a lot. I mostly played against Casey. I did that for a while. After that is when I beat Challenge Mode with Don. After that, Casey appeared. I don't exactly which of these things caused him to appear (maybe a combination of all of them) but it's a load off my mind to have finally gotten him. I thought I was gonna go insane if I couldn't figure it out.

i beat it with mike and he showed up. it is teribly annoying he has no projectile I didnt exspect stars but at least base balls.

So Casey really is in the PS2 version? Coolness!! I'll have to get challenge mode before I have any chance of unlocking him, I guess...
