I have just started a programming class in school and i might tri to make a mini tmnt game.

Uhhhh, hooray?

I don't know what kind of programming class you're gonna take that will teach you enough to make a TMNT game. I'm a junior comp sci major in college, and all the programming classes I've taken (there have been many) haven't taught much more than the basics, let alone enough to make a TMNT game.

your not the only one. i am too, but if you think im making a good game think again. Dont expect a lot from my game. and dont get exited either.
I will be good one day though.

Vidual basic? eh? I thought that was only for making applications. hold off on that, i suggest you wait until C++...

i wanted to make a game similar to TMNT 1 for NES (since it's my fav tmnt game), but i quickly learned that my skills had no chance of making something like that :lol:

I think id be able to pull it off.

But thats if i wanted to... which I dont.. :P

Id rather stick with the Beat Em Ups, the first TMNT gane i really disliked.

Same :lol: ... Me and my bros always used to hate it... but the 2nd NES game brings back a lot of memories, oh how i long for those days...

Heres my proposal for my game.


I want to make a Game. The fighting style will be similar to that of the game pokemon for game boy. The Game will star the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Some characters you can choose to be are Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, Michelangelo, Splinter, April, Casey. Maybe not all the characters listed but a couple. You will walk around the sewers, the sewers are a maze and you need to find your way To the Technodrome that is hidden in the sewers. Some foes you may meet during the game play are Foot soldiers, foot elite, foot tech, mousers, mega mousers, bebop, rocksteady, and shredder.

a very simple way to make this is using RPG Maker 2003

Its a amatuer program, but could possibly be perfect for what your looking for.

If its similer to pokemon, then the fight system should also be very useful.

I used to use RPG Maker 2000!

Yeah, i dont use RPG Maker anymore.. too amatuer for my liking.

The only real difference with RPG Maker 2K & 2K3

is that 2K3 has a new battle system, and updated graphics.. thats really it
