Favourite TMNT openings/ theme songs?
 

TMNT has had a lot of catchy tracks throughout the years,

recently I've found myself looking up the Japanese intros for the 2003 series and they're really good, especially Permanent Vacation but the superman legend ova intro is quite catchy too, being sung by one of the dragon ball z singers.

There is the intro to the fred wolf series which is an absolute classic, the "hero" UK version is good too, but I prefer the animation of the american version


what TMNT theme songs/openings do you like?

As much as I dislike the 2003 series, I think that intro ROCKS.

It does, I like how it had different variations depending on how shredder was, I remember hearing the karai version a lot as a kid, the instrumentals are cool sounding and I like how fast-paced the animation is, with little nods to the Fred wolf series like April looking at the camera while in her helicopter. like how April is seen in the turtle van in the fred wolf intro.

I also quite enjoy fast forward, for as cheesy as it is, I like how each turtle has their own lyric to say, the melody reminds me of sonic x, fitting being from the same dub distribution company.

Back to the Sewer?....it's ok, not as memorable or creative as the other two, the animation's nice,

Honestly, I wish that some day they release the score for the Red Sky seasons, cuz there were some pretty awesome battle themes in that.

yes, I've seen a few episodes from the red sky seasons, that opening is great, I like how it incorporates the movie footage with the episode footage

The 2003 cartoon



I think the 2012 cartoon should have an original song, rather than riding the 1987 nostalgia wave.
