How do you guys keep your NECA figures standing up?

For many it is a challenge to keep them upright. Sometimes they'll just randomly fall and it'll startle me... usually the Foot Soldiers or April.

Is there stand assists you guys would recommend? Or what?

I've enjoyed these stands. Good value, fairly solid. Sometimes I have to use glue as some of them can be looser than others, but for the most part, these have served me well over the years.

NECA sells their own large circular peg stands - you can find them online or at Target in the NECA section. They are also great for most Marvel Legends.

Bigger, more cumbersome figures can be clamped with a stand similar to what Zacahtello linked you to.

I’ve had no issues with my movie Raphael or mirage Casey. But I did buy NECA stands cause my Marty Mcfly wasn’t standing up well. It works great for Marty and I have 9 left for backup since you get 10 to a pack. Most of my NECA figures stand up no problem.

I had Dreadmon on a clear NECA stand and he was perfect! Switched him over to a black one because it suits the shelf better, and he's taken one spill so far. Looks like I've got the balance point right now though. He's a a tricky one, and I don't want to mess with him too much and loosen up the joints on the digitigrade legs.

Wide stances and slightly bent knees.

It’s all about that ankle pivot and then everything in relation to that in my experience.

I’m sure the stands are nice, but I’ll offer my alternative method.

Part of my problem is that mine are all on free standing bookshelves, so they’re a little wobbly. Especially with wild kids in the house. Anyways, some problematic figures I just lean against a corner or a wall, or in the case of my 1990 Hoag April, she is leaning right up against/slightly behind Casey.

Saki and Yoshi also fall periodically, but I just pick them back up.

I usually have them propped up on something on my tv stand. Though I do need eventual shelving for them.
