Splinter
Yep and same goes for most of the archies as well.
Yeah
Too bad.
I'm planning on getting every TMNT comic ever made. But i've only got 25 yet :goofygri: HEHE My question is then. Are the archie comics no good, are they childish or are they cool??? |
They are good in their own way. They are clearly targeted towards younger audience than Mirage, but the later issues have some pretty mature stories too.
Cool. I'll consider it. But i want the Mirage comics to start out with. Can't wait to read em. Only need issue #1. I've won it in 4th print on ebay. Man it's going to be great. Then i can read 1-11 plus all 5 1-shots wuuhuu. Well back to the topic.
So Splinter looks like a dog Huh!! :D |
the few times i've drawn splinter my brother has said that he looks like a dog, its hard to not make him look like one :dead:
Yeah, it's bad there.
My dad calls my dog a rat-faced poodle. Thank god he looks more like a rat in the new series. |
It seems to be very difficult to draw an anthropomorphic rat for some reason. I don't know what it is. Isn't there an in-joke in one comic where Renet says he looks like a dog?
The folks who animated the Rats of NIHM did a decent job. :D I guess Splinter is really more of an idea of what rats look like, rather than actually based on them. Of course, so are the Turtles. But it would help if they'd round his ears off rather than make them pointy.
I've never had a problem drawing Splinter to LOOK like a rat. Maybe cause I've had ratties I know what they should look like
Splinter in the movies looked like a rat...well the first two. Forget the 3rd. |
