If you had to retcon any FW characters as being gay, which would it be?

Vernon is definitely a closet case.

Making Vernon gay is way too easy, and he’s much funnier if he’s that excessively campy and yet 100% heterosexual.
We don’t really have to retcon anyone in the Fred Wolf series as gay because Shredder and Krang were already desperately in love, but no one in the universe would officiate their taboo relationship.

Vernon is not gay, he is shown to be straight and his portrayal by Will Arnett hammers that, he is full of hetero sexual energy. He's straighter than an arrow. Thompson seems straight as well.

Irma is also not a lesbian, she's meant to be one of those ugly nerds who are horny as hell and will fck anything that moves. Now I'm not saying she wouldn't experiment into some bi stuff in a threesome, but that's also because she knows the end game is the big D and if that's what it takes then she'll play along.

Casey well I could argue he is since he doesn't have much interaction with girls but it's already been retconned he and April are a thing like in other canons so I guess not.

Zack the fifth turtle, I could see him growing up and learning he really wasn't a fifth turtle, he just wanted to understand why he felt different from everyone else just like the turtles, but it wasn't because he was a mutant turtle, it's because he enjoyed the company of men. That's a believable arc.

But I can see Don Turtelli being gay. In fact I like that one more, he fits the bill perfectly. Pinky McFingers also seems sus to be honest but I could hear both sides of the argument.

As for everyone else, well 95% of the cast never had a love interest. Shredder was weirdly asexual in the show, he showed no interest in women over the entire series.

I'm pretty sure that villain wax collector guy was gay. Forgot his name, he was the one building wax statues of the Turtles and their villains. He was French too so he was probably gay, Rob Paulson voiced him I think.

I separate the art from the artists. It's like saying Batman from B:TAS is gay because Kevin Conroy was a gay man in real life. I don't think anyone thinks the most iconic animated Batman was gay.
