Super Mario Galaxy movie has a TMNT 2012 reference!

I'm not sure if this has been said yet but I instantly recognised it because I used to watch this show so much!

In the new Mario Galaxy movie there's a scene where someone (I think it was Mario) does exactly what Leo does in I believe Season 1 Episode 1 with his hand signals.

I can't find the clip online but it was exactly like it happens in the tmnt episode when the Turtles are fighting Snakeweed and Leo gives the turtles the hand signals quietly before the fight and the other turtles don't understand what he's saying. It felt exactly like that scene even to the point where the person (I think it was Luigi) says "I. don't. know. what. that. means." just like Raph does when Leo says it to him!

There were a lot of references in that movie so I think it's too specific to just be a coincidence!!
If someone could help me find it if they had the movie and confirm I'm not crazy! I saw it in the cinemas a while ago but have been wanting to ask on here a while ago

That joke has been around for decades, TMNT 2012 didn’t come up with it.

Yeah, a lot of jokes get re-used between kids cartoons and movies through the years, most likely because everyone watches the same shows and several writers work on multiple series between different companies. It's still funny to see though.

One of the most overused jokes in a kids show is when a character suddenly gets hurt or hit off-screen, and then like 5 seconds later you hear them say, "I'm ok!" letting kids know they're not that badly hurt. I've seen this in dozens of shows and movies, I can't believe how overused it is.
