Donnie, Raph, The Shredder, and a Foot Soldier have been out since the 25th of last month. Who’s buying these? What characters would you like to see in this line? Do you see it being as successful as the GI Joe ReAction Plus line? What are everyone’s expectations from this line?

i was initially really excited about these, but I'll pass until I see them on outrageous discount somewhere.

Honestly, the price point is awful and you might as well double down and get the far superior JoyToy stuff for what Super 7 is charging for ReAction+.

These should be $9.99.

Seeing these in person might change your mind (especially Donnie).

I'm with you in that this is likely a factual contributor to the pricing. But I mean... how is that going to change the spending behavior of anyone who thinks before acting?

Most rationale people don't hear that and think: "Oh, well they are a smaller company and charge more therefore I will spend $24.99 for a 3.75" novelty action-figure new at retail!"

See what I mean? "Reasons" don't mean that you just accept it. "Reasons" only means that someone has some kind of justification for it.

Probably not although seeing them might make it more tempting. The G.I. Joe ReAction+ are great, but I quite buying them for the same reasons. I can't imagine any rational person seeing the ReAction+ stuff and thinking "these are truly worth 25 bucks a pop!". That's basically irrationality at it's highest. It would make more sense to think "these are truly cool and really go back to the heyday of the action-figure, but man... 25 bucks each?"

It's ironic man, because I have a huge collection of stuff, but it isn't because of "zombie consumerism". More like because of calculated buying. All just conversation though - I hope the TMNT ReAction+ line does well. And I'd be eager to see them on a true discount somewhere.

Ya the ReAction line is waaaay overpriced. I don’t care that they’re a smaller company. There’s no justifying $25 for this scale of figure from any company.

I honestly think these are purely nostalgia driven. They’re just small figures framed in that retro/vintage format so people go...”oh classic style”.

The Shredder in this line is pretty much perfect and I wish he had come out in the 80s so I could have had him join the ranks of Cobra.

Turtles miss the mark for me though.

As for the price... yeesh. But I feel that way about pretty much every collector line right now.

Which characters are you most excited for?!

Wave 3 should have April, Splinter, Krang, and Baxter.

Glad to see they got these done before the license ran out.

Loving the card art for Bebop and Rocksteady, it’s so refreshing to see something vintage inspired but actually be NEW.

They are pretty cool. If we ever see them on some discount down to acceptable pricing, I'd buy 'em for sure.

Wave 3 predictions?

We, at least, need April and Splinter to round out the 1988 characters.
