New to Mirage Volume 4, Help please
 

Hey yo, I'm just getting into Mirage V4 with Issue #12 and I was wondering if anyone would go what happened since the first issue briefly? I've looked at ninaturtles.com and on some previous issue discussions here but the major storylines in one paragraph or so would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

well, Splinter's gone to rat heaven. :-( :cry:
The guys all split up.

I'm still catching up.

Here's the main events in no particular order:

1) Splinter dies of an apparent heart attack. The Rat King appeared just before his death.
2) There's a new street gang in New York: Madhattan Maulitia.
3) Utroms have landed on Earth along with the Fugitoids and various representatives from other alien races.
4) April could not get pregnant because Stockman had injected her with nanobots back in Volume 2. She had to have surgery in order to stop the nanos from killing her.
5) Donatello kept robo-Baxter alive and imprisoned in a hidden sewer location for years. Don ultimately destroyed Baxter.
6) There's an anti-alien terrorist organization called the Xihad.
7) There are talking dinosaurs and tree like monsters in the jungle of Bolivia.
8) There's a Galactus looking guy killing Foot Soldiers.
9) There are a gang of vampires in New York (Raphael is now one).

holy crap! i stopped collecting since the 5th issue. i gotta catch up... sounds interesting.

hopefully not for long...ugh...vampires...

you really should read them. theres so much other crap going on that whats even summed up. laird loves tons of little plot leads - tons of different ways to go on. like shadow being invited to join the foot, and why karai was fighting the hologram turtles.

That's true, I definetely missed some stuff in my attempt at a summary.

well last week. I pust a check in the mail for the first 3 issues of vol. 4. I can't wait to get them so that I can read them. If I get them I will order more from The Offical TMNT website
