Exactly 25 years after Aaliyah.

RIP Dolly. You will be missed.

Damn, Dolly ruled.

RIP

Another wonderful music legend, they said she'd been under the weather for some time. She's now reunited with other past legends she performed with. Rest well and keep performing in heaven, Dolly Parton.

I only know Dolly Parton be cause we hada Dixie Stampede in my town, later renamed to Dolly Parton's Stampede.
It's a lot of fun a good dinner+show combo.

Check it out if you're ever in Hicksville usa

Did you attend it?

She is an authentic icon. I hope she's remembered for a long time.

ZariusTwo 08-26-2026 03:12 AM

I'd say RIP, but that voice lives forever.

Yes à couple of times, the uncensored version. The original had more south vs north stuff and confederate flags but it was all for fun. I'm sure the new version is just as good and worth going to, it's not like that's what made the show entertaining but a part of the essence will be gone.

She was a legend as well as kind, down-to-earth, and funny. R.I.P.

Like Hulk Hogan, Chuck Norris and so many others that I have known for my whole life, they always seemed “permanent” until they’re not.

I think I might call my parents later.

It's errie this happened during the 30th anniversary year of her TV film Unlikely Angel.

How come? What's the significance of it that differs had it been the 29th year or so on? 30? That it's a round number?

Storm Eagle 08-26-2026 06:44 PM

She was indeed a legend. R.I.P. Dolly Parton.

I got rid of the completely pointless politics argument in here. You‘re welcome.
