RIP Dennis Haskins

This one hurts.

Dennis Haskins, best known for Saved by the Bell’s principal Richard Belding has passed at 75:

I saw this news earlier. Sad to see another Saved by the Bell cast member pass away.

Weird that “The New Class” lasted longer than the original but I saw a handful of reruns awhile back and they’re not bad actually. I read they replaced the cast midway through. I’d like to watch the rest.

I only saw a few College Years episodes. I need to finish those. As well as the 2020 revival. It wasn’t particularly funny but I found it interesting. I liked that the school was a full blown school.

Not gonna lie, I thought he was dead already.

Strange timing - you don't hear a lot about "Saved By The Bell" anymore, but a few days ago I saw an interview somewhere where Tiffany Amber Theeson commented that the "royalty checks from Saved By The Bell Have Dried Up".

She said something to the effect of that the checks themselves cost more to print than the royalty payout.

Hard to believe that show aired more than three decades ago now.
