RIP Patrick Stewart

A worthy one for the forums.

Gutted by this. I didn't know he had Alzheimers.

Technodrome Forum Death thread.

A TMNT vet as well as a legend!

Totally forgot about that.

Barkworm 10-29-2026 03:23 PM

What a legend. Rest in peace, man!

I knew he wouldn’t live forever but this hits hard. The Enterprise D was a home away from home as a kid.

However the Alzheimer’s disease might explain ST: Picard. Elder abuse.

Logan may have also been a “personal” role for him.

CyberCubed 10-29-2026 03:49 PM

Saw the news an hour ago and could barely accept it. Between Captain Picard, Prof. Charles Xavier and several other roles, I've been watching him my whole life. I really thought he'd live to 95+ like Shatner, crazy we lost him and Walter just 2 days apart.

His final role in Doomsday will be bittersweet now.

"And I will always be here... old friend."

That video is a poorly uploaded quality, looks like it was filmed off a computer screen. The movie on blu-ray does not look like that.

He may have talking about the script and dialogue. Not exactly Breaking Bad. Especially with the redundant exposition of Winter’s backstory. It gave the whole movie away from the start.

Another big legend and icon, in the Star Trek & Marvel franchises and many other places, including TMNT. His life was full and he kept going right up to the end. Rest well Sir Patrick Stewart.

Mad Dog McMutt 10-29-2026 04:36 PM

Like somebody said before me, he was the perfect Professor X. This has been a wild year.

Andrew NDB 10-29-2026 04:41 PM

Who'd have ever thought he'd outlive Shatner? This isn't the way Generations is supposed to go.

CyberCubed 10-29-2026 04:46 PM

I never watched American Dad but he voiced a character on that show for 195 episodes. I had no idea, that's his longest continuous role, oddly enough.

Well, this is quite a sad day.

You think Shatner or Takei will be the last of the O.G. cast standing (or sitting)?

Oof, I don't know. Shatner will probably go first. He recently started finally having problems and at his age that's usually the end of it.
