grunger_kittie: I have yet to watch the live action one... though from the comments of my friends, amy was the closest to the anime or something like that.

The live action one is closer to the Manga than the anime, and it tells the story better than either version. (Naoko Takeuchi herself dosn't like the anime version, she wanted it to be live action in the first place, hence we now have the LA version)
