TMNT Merch

Im having a hard time keeping up, you know what would be a kick ass idea? Is if someone made a list of all the TMNT merch thats out, binders to bed sheets, lunch boxes to BK toys.
Im a completest and I think I got most of the stuff but I keep stumbling upon new crap everywhere I go! I need like a ever growing checklist. Example: did you guys know there are like 15 different covered coloring books out there, well that was my last count.
Anyway what do you guys think I could help out since I got so much of it but I know theres more out there.

I think you are finding out the reason why such a list doesn't currently exist. There is simply too much product out there. Tring to collect it all tends to lead to collector burnout real quick. Personally, I would suggest just picking one area to focus on and stick with that. If you find something else that interests you, you can always pick them up.

That's exactly what I'm doing. When I first heard of TMNT coming back I said I would buy everything, now I realize it would cost way too much and be to hard to find everything. I am focusing on the action figures but I buy a lot of other turtle toys that I like.

Yes, I long ago realized it's not realistic to collect EVERYTHING. So I've been trying to be more selective in the types of things that I allow myself to buy.

I'm an action figure addict, so I have to get action figures. But I am now very selective on the ones that I buy. With rare exceptions, it has to be a main character and no goofy outfits. So I passed on the sports Turtles and armor Turtles. But the exception will be that I DO buy Turtle Titan.

Clothing is allowed since I can actually wear it. So far I have socks, boxers, t-shirts, hoodie, and a ski hat. All I need are pants. :D

Other stuff that I can actually use is also allowed. Such as the wobble pens and fleece blanket. So if it's a practicle item that I can use, I'll get it.

All the stuff I've been selling on eBay is old stuff that doesn't fall into these categories.

Comic books I still collect every single one and every single variation.

It is realistic, Maybe not on the same time, but it is realistic. I'm a figure & comic collector at this very moment, but my goal is to get everything there is HAHA. Boy is that gonna take a while

Roseangelo 01-04-2004 05:50 PM

Actually, it's not realistic. Even with all the money in the world. Because I can guarantee you that there are TMNT items that you've never heard of. And it's hard to buy things you don't know exist.

Michaelangelo|DAH 01-05-2004 01:10 PM

Yeah, but somebody has got to buy the stuff we've never heard of, It would be stupid to release something which no one knows exists

coryroo24 01-05-2004 03:01 PM

good luck in buying everything you have your work cut out for you.

Michaelangelo|DAH 01-05-2004 03:34 PM

I'm not saying that I want to buy everything, But since everything is out there somewhere, Then it isn't unrealistic!!!

coryroo24 01-05-2004 06:56 PM

it is definatly possible. I would take a lot of time and effort to do it though, if only you could make a full time job out of it and get paid. If I win the powerball here in PA then I'll help you

PizzaPower 01-05-2004 08:41 PM

That's what Mega collectors do, they spend there entire life trying to find everything, weather its Elvis, Batman MOTU or TMNT.

Flash4em 01-11-2004 07:26 PM

Nah I was just talkin' tmnt 2003 stuff, like bubble gum dispenser things and the new yo yos for us hard core collectors to keep track...
