Foot Soldier
 

Just opened my foot soldier, even though i am collecting my figs MOC at the time. here's my question:

Did any of you guys have trouble with getting him to stand up straight???

He's stand up right now, but only barely. He has almost no balance hehe

Just wanted to know if it's just my fig. or if it's just in particular!!

I never opened mine but it does look like he would have trouble standing. I doubt yours is faulty.

Cool, thanks. It's the only figure I've ever opened. The package was kinda damage so I'm getting myself a new one, sometime soon

yeah, the foot soldier was a pain to get to stand up. i usually just had him be dead :lol: . instant solution!

hehe, cool. Well he is an enemy. So why not just kill him hehe

After much messing with the legs and posing them I got him posed.

-->> .. you can pose and stand 'em.. thye are tricky.. but their legs gotta be pulled apart a bit.. it's possible.. look real close at the joints.. they are just like the reg. TMNT legs.. if you kind of wiggle 'em around.. and play with the pose ..they will stand.. the leg joints kind of pivot in diff- directions..

Talking about the '89 Foot Soldier or the newer ones? The old one is a trick to stand up yeah...I had him holding that long jumper cable like weapon and tried to hook the mouth of it behind something (I think thats how I did it)...also when he's holding something in his hands, his feet aren't quite able to bend forward and that helps balance slightly. He would stand up perfectly then. Of course mine I display on a shelf...

Another figure I could never get to stand up good was the old '88 Shredder...I finally taped one of his legs to a shelf support to get him to stay there without falling over. I know...tape you say? Ack, sounds cheesy but if I tape the figures feet to the surface, they will stand up 99% of the time without falling over for forever basically...I just display them never play with 'em so they collect dust...ackpth annoying.

I had to stick mine down with sticky tack just to get him to stand, so it's not just yours.

Mine out of the 3 pack is a bit tricky to stand up but its a matter of twisting his hips right and getting the legs far enough apart

The trickiest one to stand up out of the figures I have though is Don

Yeah, well. He is standing right now but only barely. I got an advice about putting a Shuriken under his foot hehe. That's why they're called the FOOT clan hehe.

You having trouble with DON, OMG. that must be a mistake don't ya think. There have been no problems with my DON

Maybe it's English Don's :lol: coz my housemates one doesn't stand easily either
