Recolors...
 

Has anyone taken a look at the new "mutators" line and noticed that they're just recolors of the old transforming ninja turtles? I mean, wow. =)

Actually there is some sculpting differences between the two. They're resculpted, retooled, and repainted to match the new line. Not just recolored to match the new TMNT. :)

I noticed a few differences, but the shredder one looks really... blah.

yeah, they are nearly completely resculpted. And the ooze is worth it.

Keep in mind, the old mutations came out about 10 years ago.

Amen,i don't care how crappy a toy is,if it comes with green gooey crap that has a knack for getting stuck in carpet,im a happy guy.

Yup... I don't care if they're repaints or not... the Ooze, and the fact that I miss my old Mutatin' TMNT figs make these a must buy for me.

I still have all my old Mutatin' action figures. The Turtles, Bebop, Rocksteady, the original Foot Soldier, and Tokka. Never had Splinter, Rahzar and Shredder ended up breaking on me.

I've got my old Mutations figures, well, just the four turtles, but all in their boxes still.
