White box Sewer Lair playsets?

I've been looking on ebay for the Sewer Lair playset, and I see a lot ot them that are white-boxed and include a Leo, Shredder, and Shell Cycle. Are these some kind of promotional release or are they some kind of knockoff?

No, it was a promotion from JC Penny and after the holidays they went on sale so this guy is probably just scapling them.

Yea, I would not consider that a true variation dude to the fact CP Penny did that and not Playmates...

Actually, the box was produced by Playmates and has their printing on it.

Go to Target, most places have the Playset for $20-$25. I took advantage of JC's previous sale for only $19.99, I bought 3 playsets. Shipping was dirt cheap. If you wait, they may lower it again at a later time.
