An idea for anyone willing...

there's a couple of programs out where you can use sprites and create your own 2d fighter. I know theres alot of people with sprites out there from the old games. A compilation of all the top fighting games would be cool. Everyones always saying how they'd love to see a "Street Fighter vs Turtles" game and whatnot....it is possible to just make you know..

try www.gsarchives.net

Yep, I've been working on it a little here and there. Have been for awhile :P

The best way to make a fighting game is to use the M.U.G.E.N. engine. Especially because there are two versions of all four turtles out on the net. One that is standalone (using SNES TF graphics) and one that came as part of a whole "port" of the Genesis Tournament Fighters.

I used the Genesis Tournament Fighter turtles and put them in a game against Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, and someone else and made TMNT VS Dragonball Z. Pretty cool but it has some glitches... Unfortunately that was on my old computer which is now toast.

sounds cool. I wish I was good at making games.

I was looking forever to download this, and then when it did, it said my version expired in 2001... :-?

Any new releases of it? Or cracks?

Ninja Tiptup 02-17-2004 06:28 PM

Sadly all the new versions are for Linux... My older PC verison never stopped working even though it was so-called "expired". So I'm not exactly sure. It's freeware afterall...

Your Probely thinking of MUGEN, and its only 1 on 1 fighters.

However, I am a game maker myself, and I use Multimedia Fusion, costs around $200+ but is really worth it. You can make any type of game you want, all you need is basic programming skills.

I make scrolling beat em ups all the time with it.

What language does it use?

Leo15 02-18-2004 07:16 PM

Pizza Power, just in case no one has ever told you, or you've not noticed yourself, but without you're "Pizza Powers Layer (A TMNT Website)" description above your URL, it looks like the address reads Pizza Power Slayer.tk, almost like the site is anti-turtles or something. If you mean 'layer' as in dwelling or hide-out.....lair would have been a much better choice so it didn't look so Anti. Not to look into it too much, or be judgemental or stupid; it was just an observation.
