Huzzah!

Last weekend I yanked out my old NES, ripped it apart, cleaned the cartridge connectors, slapped it back together again, and guess what?

It doesn't work anymore!

...

Just kidding!

In fact, it works better than ever. You take the cartridge, insert it, and press power. It just works. Perfectly No giving the cartridges a blowjob, no beating on the machine to make it work, and best of all, no mid-game freezes.

I rock.

Now, if I can just track down "The Manhattan Project"...

Thats a good thing to hear, that there are more NES' running now. Mine still works pretty well, but I have to jam 2 cartidges in to turn it on. Hey, whatever makes it work!

thats awsome...i still have my NES and it works great still. the only prob is a yr ago my bro droped it and the lid broke off...grrrr
