Your opinons of the new mutations line?
You know the new(ish) line of turtle figures that you can transform from the actual turtles to their mutated form? What do you think of them? I remember having something similar back during the old series days, and they were pretty cool. I bought the Don one today, and I've been messing around with it. Other than the two back legs being kinda flimsy, it's neat.
Plus, free Ooze! (Well, sorta free) |
Well there are certain figures in the line that I'll never be a fan of -- namely the Mutatin' Foot Soldier and Mutatin' Shredder. Not only is the latter a pretty crappy figure IMHO, but neither of them actually mutate! Shredder just puts on a damned suit of armor, and I dunno what the Foot soldier does, but it's not mutation.
But I hear the ooze is pretty nice, and I'm not exactly sure but it looks like these new figures are slightly larger than the old ones. I was never a fan of the actual "mutating" of the figures -- they never looked like pet shop turtles to me, really, with the crappy hind legs, and I could've designed better mutating Turtles myself, but eh, kids'll eat 'em up, and that kinda makes me glad. They're not as bad as the XTREME Turtles, anyway. :) |
I wont by any 10 dollars is a little to much to pay for a single figure in my opinion besides i have don one from the old line

I like 'em, but then again these were my favorite figs from the old line. My only complaint is that my Leo has Donnies shell's, the heads are hard to get flipped around, and they don't close as easy.
And the ooze is awesome :D. After this line goes away they should release it seperately. |
I'd be all about some ooze. I miss the Ghostbusters ectoplasm.
