The TMNT games need to breach different genres!
 

I had this great idea for a TMNT adventure game somewhat along the lines of the Zelda series or Metal Gear Solid.

Just think of it. (I'm not going to explain my reasoning for the Zelda-ish aspects cause I'm sure you can all think of ways that would fit, with the great combat system and puzzles, etc) But being that they're NINJAs, the stealth mode(s) of the Metal Gear games would be great to have the TMNT with.

Well... TMNT 1 on the NES was pretty close to Zelda II in design (no RPG elements though). An action based RPG could be cool.

Also perhaps a TMNT game thats a cross between Shinobi and Metal Gear Solid. That would be great stuff if done properly.

However the TMNT works best as a four player brawl and I'll be happy if they would just make a good four player console game in the usual style or maybe like Hunter the Reckoning.

Oh no, don't even think about it. We already have enough bad Diablo-clones out there, one with TMNT would just be even more bad I think.

However, skip the level-system and go for a more "Zelda in stealth" thing and it could really be great. Instead of finding strange items to use (yeah, except donnie) you could somehow learn new fighting skills and in a way gain level, as long as we don't see any stupid Gembu-powers again

Yeah..I agree. They can do alot with the NinjaTurtles. Rpg's, Mod's, whatever. They fit into every Genere this is. And if they can do visually appealing things like Resident Evil and Final Fantasy, They can make a wicked TMNT game, in any style...A "Leonardo, Stealth Assassin" game would be cool. The possabilities are endless man.

If you've ever played one of the Tenchu games, don't you think Leonardo would go great in something like that?
