Nicko what the heck are you talkin about? Cut and paste? You can do that to video files? How? Sorry for the questions, I never heard of this before. :)
|
Yes you can do that to video files...i'm gonna try make a little guide and post it here later when it's done :dead:
Edit: ok, this is what you have to do... Download virtual dub (get it here: http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/v...Dub-1_4_10.zip ) and then unzip it to a folder, go to that folder, and double click in VirtualDub.exe, a window should pop up (duh) Now click on "file", click on "open video file..." http://twiki.org/p/pub/Main/RobokopSuxors/vdub1.jpg And select the episode that has the opening by double clicking in it http://twiki.org/p/pub/Main/RobokopSuxors/vdub2.jpg Now move the little arrow to the beginning of the opening http://twiki.org/p/pub/Main/RobokopSuxors/vdub3.jpg And then click on "file", and click on "set selection start" http://twiki.org/p/pub/Main/RobokopSuxors/vdub4.jpg Now you will have to move the little arrow again, but this time to the *end* of the opening http://twiki.org/p/pub/Main/RobokopSuxors/vdub5.jpg And then click on "edit", and click on "set selection end" http://twiki.org/p/pub/Main/RobokopSuxors/vdub6.jpg Now click on "video", and click on "compression" http://twiki.org/p/pub/Main/RobokopSuxors/vdub7.jpg Now select the codec you want to compress the video with and then click "OK", i recommend "DivX ;-) MPEG-4 Low-Motion" because it kicks your beloved butt http://twiki.org/p/pub/Main/RobokopSuxors/vdub8.jpg Now click on "file", and click on "save as avi" http://twiki.org/p/pub/Main/RobokopSuxors/vdub9.jpg And now the final step, write the filename (by example yousuck.avi) and click on gua--errr...um...whatever that button might be in the english version of windows...probably "save" or something like that... http://twiki.org/p/pub/Main/RobokopSuxors/vdub10.jpg If a window like this appears: http://twiki.org/p/pub/Main/RobokopSuxors/vdub11.jpg Just click on yes, probably nothing will happen, i've used divx to convert lotsa' stuff and it never crashed... Now wait for the file to save...that's *IT*!YOU DID IT, YOU MEGA-GENIUS OF VIDEOEDITING!!! Well that's how you cut it, im gonna post how to paste it later, because right now i'm too bored.Should you have any problem(s) in the process of cutting the video, feel free to ask me, for i might as well ignore you...or help you out. Happy video-cutting! :D :P |
Holy cow, dude! That last post just might have been the most educational post I've ever read on here. :o
*Salutes Nickokapo with a glass of Fruit Punch* Three cheers for Nickokapo, educator of all things dealing with Ninja Turtles technological stuff. :) "You earth beings have remarkable ingenuity, Donatello!" - Kerma, from "Planet of the Turtleoids" :tsmile: |

but yeah, dregg is kinda useless and nicko has been known to make the most important posts to our ninja turtle needs. so newbie (Ninja Turtle Cartoon Fan)... do not be surprised when he makes a post that could become a very literal novel someday. me... mine are the lengths of an average Dr. Seuss book, but without the rhymes. argh! |
well that was not too hard to do even without a guide....
|
Yeah i know...virtualDub's pretty easy to use...it's one of my fave divx proggies and most useful too...that one, and divfix too :D
Gee...thanks dudes :toops: Quote:
I'll post the video pasting thingie soon, i gotta make a lot of screenshots first :dead: |
Yeah virtualdub is a must have...
|
 You can check if the movie you are downloading from kazaa is the real one with it, not having to wait for it to finish downloading, convert files from a format to another, apply filters and another enhancing gizmos (even tho i haven't tried this part, but it looks like its gonna be useful if i ever get a video capturing card), and a lot more stuff... :thyper:
|
blasted Kazaa....
I downloaded the newest version of Kazaa, and (to my horror) found that ALL of my eps were thrown out as well! :tmad: NOw i try to just get CONNECTED to Kazaa, and it wont let me! *bangs head on desk before passing out* |
well i dont like kazaa... I never works and files can get corrupted on the way...

I had FOURTEEN Episodes, Man! Gone in a flash! I was wicked bummed...Now I gotta find a way to get them all back! I had the very first one, Shedder gets Splintered, Punk Frogs, Beneath the sewers, Cowabunga Shreddhead, It Came from beneath the sewers, Tower of Power...all gone. :tcry:
|
i have all! im a happy man!
|
:-? bummer...the case of the dissapearing eps.
Maybe your shared folder got deleted when you re-installed kazaa, and if you had your eps in the shared folder, then they probably got deleted like that... :-? strange... I think you can get invasion of the punk frogs, cowabunga shredhead, beneath the sewers and some other eps from kazaa because i think they're still there...but i haven't seen tower of power so good luck getting that one. Im gonna put my tmnt eps folder to be shared...I don't think it will work because i tried before and the eps that i was sharing didn't show up in the search...but i'll still share em just in case it works. :ohwell:  |
I bow down and thank thee...
Whats the scoop with this Speed up thing? Is it supposed to speedup your downloads or something? I'm not very fluent in puter jargon... |
Oh i have no idea what does that thing does :-? i got the exact same application too but it was called fasttrack accelerator...it's supposed to make your downloads faster by finding more sources to download from, but i never use it because kazaa works fine without it for me :ohwell:
|
well, I just checked my firewall, and its not up, so i dont know why its not working...I get the homepage, thats about it.
|
Oh...well i dunno then :dead: :(
|
Best thing for me to do probably is to uninstall it, and try it again...
|
Yes that might work...remember to get the "lite" version of kazaa or you will end up with a pc full of spyware :dead:
