Is there a way to turn signatures off?
 

Is there? Not that I don't like them, but image-sigs make reading threads hard for me. :(

Yeah, someone needs to start enforcing the law on that. Some signatures are way too big, and some people have like 3 or 4 pictures in theirs.

I got three. But mine are all pretty small file wise. I'm on a 33.6 Modem and don't have too many problems though. :sweatdro:

i think it's not about the loading time of a page. i think it's about the dlow of reading. it gets confused with that many pictures. especially Gifss

Yeah, i was looking like crazy for the option to turn sigs off. Ideally, I don't want to, cos the artwork & links in some of them is pretty cool - it's just the file images (dimensions/pixels wise) are too large and really interupt thread reading.

Sucks i know.. :(

Well i hope mine isnt to bad, i think mine is just a little bit out of the rule limit with height, i am not sure, i forget, but not to much he is not as big as some others i seen.

That's exactly how I feel. :) True, some people have nice pictures in their sigs, but couldn't those pics be like I don't know, in their profiles or something? :-?

if I'm not mistaken, the next version of the board software will have the option to turn of sigs. I'll need Krang's confirmation but I am fairly positive about it.

Yes, everyone will have the option to turn off avatars and signatures in the next version.

Aw.. people don't want to see my super-amazing sig anymore? :P
