I actually saw the first episode yesterday (took forEVER to download, though) and I admit... weird stuff... I think the second episode looks a bit better... (that stuff about them turning into Wolverine clones is WAAAAYYYY out there) If I was registered for E-bay, I'd try and look for a DVD or VCD or something... they are odd, and pretty damn pointless... but they do got a weird charm about them...

Anime doing what it does best: being insane in the membrane.

Great review, Wes! I've got both episodes and they are pretty funny.

I'm a big fan of that page. I was in utter disbelief when I heard TMNT had an anime. It's so crazy! I absolutely have to have it for myself, but hopefully a way without paying $60 a DVD. D'oh!

And now Miyazaki's adapting one of my favorite stories, Howl's Moving Castle. Japan, how I love thee. :D

60 bucks? Don't they have any cheaper Hong Kong bootlegs or something like that?

Didn't anyone notice that Bebop and Rocksteady are A LOT LESS dumb in the OVA than in the old toon. Rocksteady even speaks in metaphores :o .

I've had both on DVD for a while now.

I watched it and let me tell you, the subs are rather innacurate. They don't curse that much, it's very exaggerated.

Still some funny crap, though.
