Isn't anyone getting tired of Shredder continuously coming back in the new toon?

I like how he comes back a million times because ... well... I can just hear the turtles saying, "What the shell is keeping this guy alive?"

Besides... how can you defeat the signature villain of such a show? remember what happened last show he was defeated in? Replaced by a villain not even a fraction of as good....

yeah but why not have him escape instead of come back to life everytime

shredder was the coolest thing in the show, no whes just damn annoying, becasue of him always returning.

I thought it was funny when Baxter Brain & Eye in the cryo tube goes bobbing above the water and crying in triumph of surviving then sinking back under again. Wonder if we'll see Baxter again in addition to Shredder or if he's finally dead like Zog is in the watery depth.....

Cause that's not who The Shredder is. He doesn't run away from ANYTHING, death be damned. He's going to fight to the finish, unlike the turtles. Since neither group can actually kill the other (no matter how much they want to) all fights must end with the apparent demise of one of either Saki or one of the turtles, or a retreat by the turtles.

So far, the only way I can see the formula ending without anyone dying is for the Foot to actually adhere to the "City at War" truce and stop them from being antagonists, but that will never happen, for several reasons.
