i don't exactly have a lot of turtle comics. Any suggestions on some good issues i could pick up would be helpful

get some of the volume 1 stuff, like return to new york, and city at war, those are good.

Ignore Jarrah, he's just obsessed with the idea of more turtles and people turning into turtles. Your best bet is to get some of the Mirage stuff. Vol. 1 is great, Vol 2. is good, and Vol. 4 is decent so far, and getting better.

Why do you say that? I would consider the later Archie issues better than quite a bit of the Mirage series.

I highly agree...but it is all a matter of our own personal opinions...
I say get a few of each series if you like it continue to buy more...
me perosnally I have to have everything the turtles apeared in even if it is goofy and corny. I just love reading turtle stories.

Get the Return to New York collected book from the official Mirage site, my personal favorite..

Try eBay for issues 1-15 (where I got mine)

Also try to get your hands on the entire City at War collection, which consists of issues 50-62.

Try and get issue 28. It's one I'm looking for myself, people say it's really good.

I'll make it very simple for you. Get Mirage Studios TMNT comics 1 - 11 or the four graphic novels. Also, get "Return to New York" and "City at War". These are the best TMNT material ever!

If you liked Mirage's TMNT Volumes 1 and 2, you'll love Mirage's TMNT Volume 4 (the current series)
