darthsmozers 05-17-2004 12:59 PM

That's why I wanted to know beforehand LOL.

Mobius One 05-17-2004 05:35 PM

What did you get autographed? a bunch of Mirage TMNT comics including Raph #1, TMNT #1 3rd print, TMNT #48 and 49, TMNT vol 2 #1, and more.

What's he like in person? It was 11 years ago so its hard to remember. He was a nice guy tho who would sign as many as i gave him.

Omigod, comic fest '93? I was 10 years old when I went to that! I had no idea he was there LOL.

yeah, comicfest '93! That was the first convention I ever went to, I was about 14. Laird was there, and so was Stan Sakai, Dan Berger, AC Farley, Jim Lawson, Eric Talbot, and Dean Clarrain. I have a comicfest 93 mirage poster that all of them signed.

darthsmozers 05-18-2004 08:18 PM

gosh, that was back in the day LOL!

Awesome :)

Anyone going to Philly this weekend, what are you brining to get signed? How much should I limit myself

Mobius One 05-19-2004 12:48 PM

Im bringing some comics and i also wanna bring this tmnt comic i drew. Do you think he'll even look at it?

darthsmozers 05-19-2004 07:10 PM

i imagine so, but i have no basis for my opinion :P

I have SO many comics to bring. namely because dan berger worked on some that eric talbot didn't work on that jim lawson didn't work on that peter laird didn't work on - so i need to over alot of ground :D

I;m also bringing all three dvd movies, the old toon dvd, and the first dvd of the new series, plus a carded original leo (late 1990's rerelease), toddler turtles carded, and tmnt#1 video game (NES), just in case laird is lonely with a break in his crowd :P

now when i get there, i'll decide which ones warrant autographs more than others

I've never "met" Pete, I just like to drop him supportive E-Mails

darthsmozers 05-24-2004 09:34 AM

Emails? which address do you use? I email Dan Berger once in awhile.

By the way - finally met the man, and it was fun :) See my other topic for info.
