Shredder and Krang one in the same
 

Okay I was watching the turtles fighting the Uthroms which look totally like Krang and I was thinking. Shredder is a evil Uthrom right? Well Krang is a Uthrom obviously and Krang too had a robot body. Now maybe this is just a stupid theory but I think the creators mixed the two villians. I think They made Shredder and Krang into one villian. You will probly all think Im retarded but if you think about it it makes sense

You have a point, only with Krang modelled on Darth Maul.

Well Krang wasn't an Utrom. Krang's looks were based on the Utroms, but he was just a bodiless brain.

Shredder in the new cartoon is the combined characters of Shredder and Krang why didn't they use Krang to start off with.

Hes not in the orgnial comic thats why theres no Rocksteady or Bebop

I know this topic has been brung up many times, but I think they put Krang's name in the new series, just to make us older fans kinda happy that they somewhat put a reflect into it. Like April in a yellow suit reporting news. It was something for older fans can enjoy.

Yeah I was noticing alot of that mostly from the turtles in space dvds

:nod: Yeah, there was an Utrom named Krang in one of the episodes. That was an awesome cameo for old cartoon fans.

I really can't see our current Shredder as a cross between Shredder and Krang, just because he's an evil Utrom. Utrom Shredder has really become has own character throughout the course of the series.

I think its really lame that they only mentioned "Krang" for
the very purpose of TMNT fans everywhere to be unable to call
the "Red Utrom"---"Krang".......

I say "F^< /<" whoever came up w/ that idea!

I'm gonna call the Red Utrom "Krang" from Now-on...
And there is nothing anyone anywhere can do about it....HA!

There you have it... The Shredder's true identity is Krang himself...

Ofcourse the idea of combining Krang & shredder together is a new twist.

Since Hamoto Yoshi in the old series became Splinter. This however is the oppisite of that idea. Very creative. Different Shredder Charater same villian. :shredder:

They didn't combine them at all. In one of the letterpages, Peter Laird said he was getting sick of this topic, because Krang was not an Ultrom, he was only BASED on one for the show, because I don't think they wanted to put the Ultroms in the old show for some reason. But they are definitly NOT the same person/thing. And I'm not just saying this. I'm saying it because Peter Laird himself said it.

Yeah but Laird can't change opinion, whilst I know Shredder Utrom really is'nt a combination, I pefer to beleive he is.
