Raphael's girlfriends.
 

Hmm, kind of a love triangle here. In the original animated series, Raphael's girlfriend was Mona Lisa, a mutant lizard. In the Archie comics, Raphael's girlfriend is Ninjara, a member of the Fox people. Which do you prefere?

to me his girl friend is ninjara....well because they were together for more then one episode / issue....
I don't remeber anything that really made mona lisa raph's girl friend...
but hey what do I know lol...they could be together...

I debated doing a love triangle thingy in my fan comic (or at least do one of my little side strips about it), but I just couldn't remember Ninjara or Mona Lisa well enough...so I nixed that idea....but more on topic here...I voted Ninji...though I HATE how that ended up.

umm....I don't know who to pick because I didn't see that much of the old toon and I've never really read the comics. Could someone post pics of them both and maybe give a summary of thier relationship with Raph? It would be very helpful. :D

The truth is, I think Raph is a much better character when he's single. If he gets a girl, then his appeal goes down in my eyes. He's much stronger of a character and a lot more interesting when he's searching for a cure to his loneliness.

At least that's what I think.

Mona Lisa was ok...I barely remember the ep but it was cute.

it seemed like raphael ended up with a foxy girlfriend if you have read the arhcies adventure future storys in the future raphaels wife is mezcaal and she looks just like ninjara.
anyway i dont know who mona lisa is just saw some of her pictures but if i were raphael i would pic ninjara she got style and beauty to sad for raph she dumped him, if raphael just had listened to future raphs warning in the future shark trilogy maybe ninjara and him could have been still together.

Of course Mezcaal looks just like Ninjara! She's Ninjara's grandaughter..or great granddaughter....either way it's wierd that Raphael married the descendent of his true love. :P

Ninjara all the way tho.... Raphael ends up with Ninjara in 2 of my stories. I have Mona Lisa in my story too... I'll always be a Raphael/Ninjara fan tho.

I also think he's better single. It just kind of hurts my head to think of any of the Turtles with a girlfriend.

I voted Ninjara, I have'nt seen the Raph and Mona Lisa episode in about Fifteen or so years, I think the time I saw it was the time it aired and I never saw it again. And Ninjara seemed cool so yeah...... :ohwell:

havent see any episodes with mona lisa either venus, but in my eyes ninjara/umeko will always raphaels big love.

sadly, i havent seen all of the old cartoons, or read any archie comics :(
but i do plan on getting archie comics in the future.
