... but if you're really serious about drawing, it wouldn't hurt to pick up an anatomy book. They're really useful when it comes to drawing muscles.
Best advice though: Practice, practice, practice. I mostly learned from drawing pics straight out of comics when I was younger. Eventually, I kinda memorized the shapes of the body and faces and such, up until the point where I could draw a person or Turtle without looking at anything.
