movies 60's-80's

dont git me wrong im no critic or movie geek but i like movies but everyonce and a while i find an "old" movie i like ..
60's-how could ANYONE not like the original NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD(68,right?)... i LOVE zombie flicks.. when i first saw it last year i was repeating soundbytes over and over and over.. to my freinds.. (half of them seen it now cos i MADE them borrow and watch it) or in class..to my parents and everyone would raise their eyebrows ..now im known for my love of zombie movies.. it set the standards and was just so simplisticly beautiful and i will keep my vhs and my vcr so i can show MY kids this .. everyone should see it ..
70's-THE OMEGA MAN..(71) based on the same post-apocolyptic (after technology gives us chemical warfare) idea of the remnants of humanity surviving against the birth of a new breed... if you like zombie moves.. charlton heston.. sci-fi's.. or just classic flix watch charlton heston as robert neville try to survive in a world of anti-tech mutants reverted to a bitter naturalistic state..
im not so sure if i should include it .. a bit off color ..but .. if youre not too big on movies but like smut check out THE CHEARLEADERS (73).. i mean .. just by the title you can tell its a must see .. its softcore so i mean its all good
80's-RAINMAN!!!! theres so much of raymonds personality i picked up from the charecter and my dad picks on me constantly because i'll say things like ..."... yeah..Yeah, see , (random stream of noconsequential facts)..yeah" im also a little interested in autism as a condition and have discussed it with my teacher (a psychologist) on top of the personal interest tom cruise and dustin hoffman are a dynamic collaboration
i also like of course the other movies afte NOTLD (dawn and day) and return of the living dead 1&2
what movies in this time span do you guys like? do you have any opinions on the ones i mentioned? got any recomendations for me?

Im a fan of Zombie movie too. Or Romero's anyway. The new Zombie movies like Residen't evil just don'tcut it... Well I have heard that Romero might get FOX to produce another Zombie flick... I really hope it comes true.

The Star Wars trilogy was popular in the 70's and 80's.

I got into the habbit back in 1992 or 93' when I was little. I would like to thank my 2 year older cousin for getting me in the habbit. 2001 was when I revised my knowledge on TMNT. And today I'm a bigger fan than I was years ago. I have all 3 TMNT Movies, current Toon, and old school Toon on DVD.

*Sigh* Amongst all the I know's what ya's did and Scream movies, the Evil Dead films are not well known to today's youth..... Alas, if only these damn kids would look past the budget and see what it really is, it's both original, and scary.

I actually enjoyed Resident Evil. (Though, this is coming from a huge fan of the games. )

Night of the Living Dead is up there on my favorite movie list, along with Dawn of the Dead.

*Sits in a corner and looks up the release date for Fistful of Boomstick*

Yes, it sort of was, but I can't get over some of the certain shots, like the Licker shot directly taken from RE2.

Most current horror films have been crap, they haven't been all bad though. The British film Dog Soldiers rocked. To bad not many saw it.
