Detecting yellowing
I have a few figures that have yellowing detected, but I can't see it.
I usually just get some good natural light, or a piece of paper and look. This does not suffice though. What techniques do you use to detect yellowing? Does anyone know how AFA does it? Thanks for looking. |

Hey Joe,
I always hold my figures up to sun light, but always starts at corners of the bubbles or inner bubbles if they are yellow I know Afa counts that, but it's just proper lighting to see the yellow is all I can say, when it starts doesn't seem to stop, I have lots of motu figures I saw yellow start and just got worse over time, I keep my figures in pitch black room with temperature control, I think it's def the environment it comes from that starts it, certain areas start the yellowing, it's a horrible thing I hate yellowing but never ending battle to stop it. I try to not have figures that are yellowed but it happens, sorry not much help I don't think anyone really knows how or why I heard a bunch of different thoughts on this but take care |

yellowing comes from poor storage. If you store them in a climate controlled house out of sunlight they should not yellow
