Frost looked at the muffin suspiciously. He took it with a frown and carefully examined the pastry. "So, if you are not an ally to the turtles, what do you want from me?" Frost was still very leary of taking a bite. He thought it was odd that Blane was suddenly quite friendly.

Blane tipped the peak of his hat back and looked at Frost.

"The others said you where part of the foot. I am looking for them. Thought I might join up!"

Frost arched a suspicious eyebrow at Blane, before deciding to take a bite out of the muffin. He had to admit that he was feeling a little hungry, but he still didn't trust this Blane character. "Yes, I am a member of the Foot Clan. What are your reasons for seeking membership? As a Foot Soldier, I can tell you from experience that it will take many months, sometimes years, before you can officially join the Clan." Frost took another bite of his muffin, waiting for Blane's answer.

"I dunno." Blane shugged, "Anythings gotta be better than this!" He guestured to the streets.

"Anyway why are you after the others?"

Frost grunted. "I find it odd that you seem to hate ninjas, but all of a sudden, you wish to become one." Frost finished his muffin. "The others are after me because, as a Foot Soldier, I am their enemy. You should seriously consider the consequnces of joining the Foot Clan. Once you are in, you cannot escape...." Frost suddenly hung his head in sadness. "Anyway, I thank you for the food. Think about it before you decide if this is the life you want. You will be forced to do deeds a normal person would never have to deal with. Assasination, theft, trespassing.....not to mention all the blood and violence involved. If you really think you want this lifestyle, then I can lead you to the leader of the New York Foot. But I am telling you now, it is best to stay away." Frost started to walk away, before turning back to Blane. "And if you do join, you will be forever an enemy to that group of turtles. The streets will no longer be your refuge." With that Frost began to walk away from Blane.

Blane grew angry at Frost pussyfooting.

"I have lived on the streets all my life! I have seen my share of violence and blood, heck, I've even spilled some." He glared at Frost as he stood up. "I am the master of these streets!"

Blane tried to control his anger. "No one can hide from me for long. I asked you to help me!" Blane turned away from Frost and started walking away.

Frost turned back after hearing Blane's outburst. "So, you are serious about joining? Hmph.....if you wish to get tangled in this ever-growing web, then you can follow me. Do not say that I never warned you." Frost started walking away once again. "I am returning to the Technodrome..."

"Wait!" Blane called out as he ran after Frost. Maybe this was the best way to find Anya.

Randi sat down next to Oni and rested her chin in her hands; she was hungry, but she also knew her body well: heavy foods like Pizza only made Randi feel even sicker when she didn't have anything to eat for a while. Breadsticks had butter and sometimes, spices on them... but it would have to do.

Blane pulled a face at Forst's suggestion of the sewer route. Some how the idea of trudging through the city's sewers did not fill him with joy. But then needs must, Blane thought to himself. He continued to walk beside Frost in silence, wondering what he would see when he finally got to the technodrome.

Frost walked in silence as Blane followed him throughout the city. They passed through the slums as the continued, running into the occasional prostitute and homeless person. Eventually, Frost stopped in front of a manhole cover. He opened it up and gestured to Blane. Silence between the two mutant turtles was broken.

"This is the entrance to our route," Frost said solemnly. "Are you sure you wish to continue?" Frost stood motionless as he waited for Blane's answer.

Blane stared down at the open man-hole cover. He muttered something under his breath before turning to Frost. "Yeah, I'm sure."

"The works," Raph replied bluntly. He thought it would be funny to not admit what those toppings were.

"Mmm.. and I gotta have the Expectant Mother's special... tuna fish with pickles and peanutbutter, covered over with motery jack." Mikey nodded. He then looked over to Randi, "Funny, for such a tough girl, you got a pretty weak stomach."

Frost climbed down into the sewers, landing with an audible splash as his feet touched the disgusting sludge. He looked up, waiting for Blane to climb down. "Do not forget to close the manhole cover before you descend," Frost called up.

Blane groaned and stared at Frost. He started to climb down the sewer ladder pausing to pull the man-hole cover back into place.
