I would call it anime-ISH. There are a lot of things stylistically that they have done with the new show to make it resemble/compete with the plathora of anime that is out there right now.

I agree that it is NOT anime. but it does have some anime elements to it...and that is certainly fine. Call it creative borrowing.

Well, I never been and never plan to, go to an anime covention.

I know alot of people who watch anime just for the action and girls, but I watch it because alot of animes have deep and involving characters, and some pretty damn good plotlines.

The funny thing is, it took America nearly a decade to catch up to Akira's animation, yet we use computer animation to help us, while Akira was hand drawn all the way through.

cool, I can't stand anime either! In fact, the only anime I'll watch is Transformers (like Armada and R.I.D) because it's Transformers, and technically it came from an American series.

Yeah the original transformers was japanesse, actually there was a whole lot of transformers stuff which never made it to the states in the 80s

I got into the habbit back in 1992 or 93' when I was little. I would like to thank my 2 year older cousin for getting me in the habbit. 2001 was when I revised my knowledge on TMNT. And today I'm a bigger fan than I was years ago. I have all 3 TMNT Movies, current Toon, and old school Toon on DVD.
