TMNT poster

I need some help confirming the existence of a TMNT poster that I've been trying to find for a long time now. It's a poster of the artwork for one of the older comic covers, #4 I think, and it was also used for the nes TMNT game box art. I once saw it at a flea market and decided not to buy it because it had been ruined by the original owner who put stickers all over it. I figured I could just buy it on ebay or something and get one that is in decent condition. The problem is that the only ones I ever find on ebay are only 11 x 16 inches.

The one that I saw at the flea market was much larger, probably like 15 x 22 or something. Is there really a larger version of this poster out there somewhere or am I crazy? I was pretty sure about the size when I saw it. I didn't have anything to measure it with, but I guessed it was a little bit smaller than my 18 x 24 in drawing pad. If anybody remembers these posters let me know, also if anybody knows where I could purchase one let me know that as well. I've heard that there might also be art prints of the illustration signed by the original artist.

The poster is of Issue 4 2nd print, which was also used as the case of the original TMNT game on the NES. There is a larger version of the poster; it may have come with the game, but I'm not a hundred percent sure. The smaller ones that are on ebay are fake reprints or something like that. I'm not sure where you could get one other than on ebay. I've seen the original poster on ebay before, so you may just have to wait for an authentic one to be put up for auction.

I can confirm there is a HUGE version of this poster. I had it on my wall as a kid and I miss it, as it's a great piece.

Definitely did NOT come with the game. I think it was available in a tube off to the side at Toys 'R' Us at the time (1989 or so) or maybe at my local comic store, but I'm not sure. It's also possible it just showed up as a Christmas present.

I think I still have this original poster from when I was a kid. It is indeed huge. My young mind couldn't understand why the Turtles had no pupils in their eyes, so I drew them in. I was even more confused by all the red bandanas.

As others have said, a full sized version was available. Locally I saw it sold with the rest of the posters in a display rack at various stores. Unfortunately it was sold VERY early on in the property. I suspect that it fell out of favor with a lot of TMNT fans at the time as the toon versions of the Turtles became more popular. It may have also lost favor since it was associated with the first TMNT game on the NES.

I had this poster as a kid too. Definitely normal poster size. I remember thinking it had better artwork but I always wondered why all the Turtles had Raph's bandana back then

Thanks for all the replies. I'm glad other people remember it too. I guess I'll just have to keep looking for a good one.
