TMNT Arcade: Just one last time...

Man, I just finished reading a cool review about the 2 TMNT Arcade games.

And I feel pretty awful.

You see, back then, I took awesome videogames for granted, thinking that they would always be there, and would never leave. But now, they're all long gone.

I've managed to get some of them back, but the 2 I took for granted the most: the TMNT arcade games.

Man, that makes me upset. I never had many friends: Me and my cousin were the biggest Turtle freaks. Now I stand alone. I never got to experience the Arcade games with ALL 4 Turtles at same time, and when I did, I was forced to watch instead of play, or one of the joysticks were broken.

Now the Games hardly exist in Texas, and my hope is dying down..

What I would like to do is find 3 people who loves TMNT videogames as much as I do , grab a box full of quarters, find a Arcade Room and hope they have at least one of the TMNT Arcade games, and...for just one last time...play my heart out.

Plan B: Find and buy BOTH games and clone myself 3 times.

But I would choose the first.

Who else feels this way? If you have any info on how to locate them, it would REALLY help, too.

Just register, and access to nearly 4000 arcade roms is yours.

Late 80's arcade gaming forever!

I don't much about MAME downloading.

To me, it's complicated!

Didn't they take offline all their roms?

Actually, I have the arcade games and the emulator. If you want, I could send you mine with instructions on how to work the thing. Also, there's still a machine here, but I'm about three or four states away from you. And it was still working last I checked. Now, granted, that was before the ceiling fell in on the place, so I'll have to check that out again later.

Re: TMNT Arcade: Just one last time...

The last place I found that still had the actual cabinet was a bowling alley close to where I used to live (and I'm in Texas too). But that was 4 years ago, and it was the better of the 2 (original one). Now Turtles in Time, on the other hand, I have not seen since the year it was released I DID get to play it that same year, though I was about 6 or 7 at the time.

THESE GAMES SHOULD COME OUT ON GAMECUBE

Sorry about that, but I couldn't resist. Really though they should. I love the TMNT arcade games! I've only played four player a few times at the arcade, but 2 player is almost as good. I own most of the TMNT console games including TMNT: The Arcade Game (TMNT 2, TMNT 1 in Japan) and TMNT: Turtles in Time (TMNT 4). Both of which I very much enjoy playing (espeically with my cousin or another friend). I also have both TMNT arcade games on my PC, but it's just not the same (one player gets dull after a long time, but it's still better than many many many games). Both TMNT arcade games should have come out on the N64 a while back, but Konami probably never even thought about the possibility. However with the new TMNT games coming it's a lot more feasable, and I can dream can't I?

You have the Arcade Version of Turtles in Time?

Is it on MAME32? That's what I have (kinda).

Well, i haven't seen the actual original arcade game in years. The last place i remember seeing it was in a Pizza Hut in my home town but they got rid of it and the x-men game atleast 5 years ago. But a mall about 30 minutes away still has Turtles in Time and i heard that the place might be going under so i'm going to try and buy the Acrade game off them. Sure i do have the roms and emulators but if i could have the real thing that would be awesome.

Holy curap Duke... Dude, if you actually managed to buy that sucker off of them, you do realize that you would be living one of the dreams of most TMNT fans since they were itty bittle kids, right? I mean... To OWN your own machine... Wow.... And it'sw a konami cabinet... Konami makes good cabinets...

I have Mame32 too!! it's the best thing ever!! Besides the TMNT games, I really like the x-men and simpsons games. They're awesome beyond belief.

just one question, where do you get more games? I got 2 "packages" of games off of Kazaa, but I still only have like maybe 40 or 50 games.
