my username was originally going to be 'What'swiththemulticoloredheadbands?', but it turned out to be too long so i shortened it to 'whatswiththeheadbands'.

i just thought that line from turtles forever was funny.

FlogginMcMurry and FloggingMcMurry come from mixing the band "Flogging Molly" with my own Irish family name "MuMury". I'm really not trying to beat my name or family lol But I love that band and I wanted to use my family heritage since before that I had been using Japanese names (and I have no Japanese blood in me).

ZombiePizza was tacked on because I couldn't decide what my name would be on here. I wanted to use my usual name but then I wanted something more... thematically fitting to the forums.
I love zombie movies and I love pizza and it was an impulse to type. No thought put into it when I registered.

Since then I have been trying to decide if I should drop the FlogginMcMurry half of the name, since it is long.

I liked the color green so I wanted to play as the green guy.

My sister was too young to play video games so my couson would hold my sister and pretend they were playing as Mario together.

Ironically Luigi is the younger brother and I'm the older brother.
My sister's fav is Mario too... dont know if it's for the same reason I like Luigi.

When I signed up at the forum I sat here and thought to myself 'Hmm...what's a good Ninja Turtle related name?' And I, not having much knowledge about Turtles, just decided to make it about my two favorites.

Everywhere else on the web I'm known as Suzukipot, a portmanteau of Suzuki (Noodle) and Stuart Tusspot (2-D) from the Gorillaz.

Mine is fairly simple, actually. I am a big Marvel fan, and one of my favorite female characters from their comics is Ms. Marvel. I'm also female, so it serves several ways- I'm a Marvel fan, I'm a Ms., and she's one of my fave Avengers. The Duckie part is because my last(married) name is- no kidding- Duck. I get called Duckie a lot at work because of it, and yes, I've heard just about every play on the name imaginable. In fact, one of the jokes I tell people when they learn my last name is to tell them that I married a duck. (No, not Howard- though my hubby has confirmed that they are related....) I've been using this name on almost every site I'm on, ever since I first used it on the Marvel boards back in 03. It's just kind of stuck, and I don't really feel like changing it, since A: it makes it easier for people to find me on-line when I use the same name every time, and B: it's too hard to remember more than one or two.

The only other username I go by (on Candlekeep and Eilistraee.com) is Alystra Illianniis, which is the name of one of my D&D PC's. She's a half-drow(AKA dark elf) priestess of Eilistraee, the long-haired nekkid goddess of dance, music, sword-fighting, and moonlight. Don't judge- she's actually the one GOOD deity of the drow(dark elves) in D&D. All the others are EBIL!!!

Ok, it's probably very obvious but I'm totally blind and I'm a turtles fan, so blindturtle was the only thing I could think of. I say totally blind but the retina in my left eye is capable of light perception but I can't see any shadows, people, colors etc. I can tell when a light's on or off, and how bright a room may be. Yeah, I was afraid of the dark as a kid, if you're wondering. lol I like how Andre on youtube refers to himself as a black turtle, so I figured saying I was a blind turtle would sound interesting. I was also thinking of the 2k3 episode Lone Raph and Cub when coming up with it. Raph kicked butt in that one.

Mine has meaning within meaning. First, the spelling consists of my initials minus the "h." In Japanese, it means "color." Also, I am a fan of Iroh from Avatar: The Last Air Bender because his intellect and attitude resembles my own.

Candy comes from my work title Eye Candy during my 3D game design year as I was making CG models for the game we where making. After finishing some ideas on how to make diverse buildings quickly, I was named Eye Candy 2.0.

Kappa is my favorite mythological creature and the protagonist of a comic I worked on for a long while was a Kappa, the comic is more or less dead, but my original username was based off him.
