Man that was really awesome! There were so many cool moments! I'm a Raph fan all the way but dang Leo absolutely RULED in this! I actually thought the Kraang had a nazi vibe when they saluted Prime. I kept hoping Leatherhead would get transported back to our dimension to help out but I guess we'll have to wait til next season to see him again. I also slowed the preview for next season way down to look at the mutants and it looks like one is gonna be like an abominal snowman with "butt cannons"! I can't WAIT to see where we go from here! BTW Metalhead can kick some SERIOUS butt and shake some SERIOUS booty! LOL.

Burned!

'Bout time somebody called Splinter out on his motives for never going out of the sewers. We still don't know his motives for not wanting to go up to the surface with the turtles, but it was nice to see him irritated about being hassled about it by April.

Also, kudos for showing Splinter running like a rat. First time ever for that, I think!
I think Splinter was trying to keep April from going to the surface because he feels like she is sorta his daughter and he couldn't stand to lose another one. I think that's what his true motive was in that and I think April will feel bad for trying to get him to the surface once she realizes why he didn't want her to go. That's just my two cents.

I'm confused as to why they showed Full House, of all things, between TMNTs...

They air Full House all the time, they always have. A lot of people who watch TMNT grew up on the original toon, which aired the same year and ran for about as long as Full House. Makes perfect sense. Nothing strange about it.

Yeah, except TMNT is an action show and Full House is glurge.

Smile Simply Awesome!

Congrats to Nickelodeon, the show filled my expectations; it is great. Love all the action, the fights between Master Splinter and the Shredder and the Turtles against the Kraang. Also the dramatic truth about Miwa, Master Splinter's long lost daughter, as I suspected it is Karai. And I love the dancing part April and the boys had. Leo's dancing was so funny

They're just surfing the nostalgia tide. You can't really expect topical consistency on a kids network.

Anyone else get the feeling that was some really important maturation/character development for Leo?

I had to look up what "glurge" meant. Why must we constantly invent new words when there are already enough that convey the exact same meaning?

Yes, Leo did great in this episode! I almost though Leo didn't make it, when had to stay fighting the Kraang.

Was I the only one that was seriously grossed out when all the Kraang's heads split open and tentacles sprouted out and started like dancing or something?

Pretty good episode. I hated the dancing at the end. But the fight between Splinter and Shredder was awesome! I loved that they both landed serious blows against the other and it wasn't one-sided. It's a shame I already knew where they were going with the Miwa/Karai thing. If people wouldn't have suggested it here first and I not been expecting it, it would have been a "WTF?! " moment. I would rather see the turtles fight Shredder than Kraang though. Lasers vs. Ninja skills is just never an interesting combination to me. I still say 'The Gauntlet' was my favorite episode of the series so far, but it was still a satisfying end to the season.

Why did everyone hate the dancing? I didn't think it was that bad...and let's just be happy there wasn't a cheesy song in the background. IMO, Don, Mike and Metalhead doing the robot was awesome
