Hun is no doubt Casey's dad. Having him rip the shirt off so specifically to show the same tattoo that is predominantly displayed on the cover of the next micro wasn't done out of coincidence. The body type and beer gut argument is paper thin...since this a comic book. Character's in comics look how they need to look to make scenes work. Do I like it, no, does it happen? All of the time.

Either the Hun micro is going to be told in flashback and he's gonna be all ripped for only that book, or it will be handled sloppily and he's going to magically have muscles in issue #26.

Or just maybe, he's gonna hit up the Purples Dragons for some super comic-book strength steroids.

But Hun is Casey's dad...that has been determined.

Can someone post a pic of Casey's dad and Hun side by side in this thread? You can clearly see they looking nothing alike.

Now I know different artists make the characters look different than one another, but there's no way Hun looks or resembles anything of what we've seen of Casey's father so far.

Good issue, I liked it. Nice to see all the different plot lines moving forward.

Art was awesome as usual. The panel where mikey tells the detectives to gtfo was particularly brilliant, and I also loved seeing him slouching off his pizza in the background of april's notebook as her and casey were talking with donnie.

I'd say matching tattoos are an existing thing, but I don't think it's a criteria in every gang. 4kids Purple Dragons also don't have matching tattoos.

So santoloucos designs for Hun which still only vaguely resemble Caseys dad are exclusively for flashbacks? I don't think so.

This whole Hun thing is something that people are so very sure about but it doesn't remotely sound likely. It's just like how people were so sure that there was a connection between Alopex and Kitsune just because they're both white foxes. There's two aesthetic similarities between Hun and Casey's dad. The way santolouco draws their eyes and the obviously gang related tattoo.

As for the Chaplin thing there's literally no resemblance, that's just more wishful thinking on this forum. Sad too, this version of Karai wouldn't be so uptight if Chaplin was in the picture.

This was one of the best single chapters in the series so far. Lots of genuinely interesting (new!) twists and lots of good character moments.

I wish the rooftop scene with Shredder and co. had lasted longer and involved some more non-business dialogue. I feel like Shredder is constantly hovering between being an interesting, multi-layered character and a genuinely frightening monster, but never hits either and has, to this point, just felt a little silly for it. More scenes with him surrounded by Japanese decorations luxuriating with his fox wife could do well for pushing him toward the former.

But, yeah, great shot in the arm. For the first time in a long time with this series, there are now multiple plot lines where I genuinely have no idea what will happen and am excited to see them play out. All from this single issue.

Well technically he is only 10 or 11. Even with his harsh childhood, Mikey seems to be very optimistic.
Side note*
Never getting a chance to even know Tang Shen like Leo or Donnie (maybe Raph) you think he bit a little more bummed out about that? Its kinda evident here that he is obviously tired of seeing the others fight and only pretends to be aloof or dis intrestead.

#25 was fantastic. Far out.

Caseys dad is Hun? I got that impression from the comic. Very exciting development, the IDW team has more than earnt my trust.
