Just because they worked on "great movies" doesn't mean this film is going to be one of them. This film still has a lot going against it.

I don't like Michael Bay, but the director seems to care about TMNT. And I'm not a fan of Megan Fox, but it's really not like she can't handle the role. Other than that, I have no qualms about cast and crew. I don't really see how this movie has a lot going against it.

What potential?? Liebesman has been called one of the worst directors in Hollywood. Every single film he's directed has gotten mainly negative reviews. The chances of that changing with this new TMNT movie are, in my opinion, very low. If anything, I expect it will happen again when this film comes out.

It's unfortunate to go up against the biggest muscle in Hollywood. But, if I'm not mistaken, all TMNT trailers and promotional material just say "August," unlike Guardians who tag 8/1/14. TMNT might not even be settled on a date.

The point that on a Tmnt fan board there are those willing to completely trash one movie and praise another not even related to the thread is discussing sorry. I think Tmnt will more then Stan HD its own ground.

there is plenty of potential. I have never once heard anyone off of these board ever call him one of the worst directors ever, i have on the other hand heard he had great potential, and the director of the first Tmnt had music codes and TV movies that's about it how if that any better? Its not.

Meh, I'd prefer designs that doesn't takes implausible liberties on how a turtle's torso would work. Even if it is a bipedal turtle, the shell makes absolutely no sense in any form of context or perspective.

What are you talking about? The FW Turtles didn't have shell abs, nor were they ridiculously huge like these new turtles. The same goes for other versions of the guys.
