Please, if you don't love everything about this movie, you're clearly a whiny pathetic troll who should just leave the movie section. j/k

Here, got a peeve:

Being told I'm irritating, annoying, a pest, or having other people around me VERY CLEARLY showing signs of annoyance [and let me tell you I'm god awful at noticing hints] but being given no reason as to why. Yes, sometimes I do act irritating on purpose, but when I'm with friends or people I love I'm trying to avoid stepping on their toes because these are people I actually care about.

When I'm sitting at the table talking with everybody and trying to have a good time, I don't want somebody in the group suddenly start acting like they've got a fork up their ass after I said something. And these people have known me for years, and in some cases, most of my life, they KNOW I can't cease an irritating behaviour unless I know what that behaviour is. And if they don't tell me [x] is irritating them, I'm forced to continue repeating it, because I don't know it's irritating.

This isn't a difficult concept to understand. A lot of the people I talk to online would gladly let me know if I've done something bothersome or offensive. Why can't my own close friends and family do it? What makes this so hard? I have little to no problems doing it. My feefees are not so precious. Even if a criticism did manage to upset me, I'd get the hell over it.

Instead, I'm left wondering just what the **** I said or did to get that person so agitated. I've even addressed specific family members about this, I've been told "it's not THAT annoying" or "maybe you don't need to know". Maybe I DO need to know. How the hell else am I supposed to figure out how to not upset you if you won't god damn TELL ME WHAT IT IS THAT UPSETS YOU.

All I'm trying to ****ing do is socialize and talk like a normal person. I don't spend a whole lot of time doing it, the least you can do is try to help make it so I don't regret it whenever I do. Instead, I end up beating myself up over **** that I can't even ****ing identify, and regretting ever leaving my safe spaces to begin with.

Yeah, my wife has the exact same problem. When she's a clam, people nudge her to "come out of her shell". And when she does, people are all, "Nah, too much of you already, go away."

People are overall pretty sh*tty.

Yes, exactly. Everyone wonders why I don't spend a lot of time socializing because it's clear I'm having fun when I do it, but when I go out and actually try, somebody always gets angry with me in that subtle way that makes everything else die down and stop being fun.

I hear ya, man.

To play devil's advocate, though, my wife is annoying as f*ck.

If you don't mind me asking, what is it that's so annoying? Maybe it's something I do too.

Oh I'unno, I guess it's hard to explain unless you're around her all the time.

A couple things she does a lot, though. One of the worst is, if there's a conversation going on amongst a small group, the very first second there's a pause in the conversation, she'll interject and try and shift the topic to something entirely based on her, whether anyone's interested or not, and often when half the people involved don't know her at all or simply don't care. Just the whole, "making oneself the center of attention when nobody was encouraging it" kind of thing. It usually has nothing at all to do with what everyone was talking about, so it's jarring. I'm better at reading people than she is, so I always pick up the little sideways glances people give each other with the "Wow, this chick is random" snickers. Seems petty, but when you do it EVERY time you're in a group, people will soon stop asking you to sit in the group.

Also, sometimes, she'll make really inappropriate comments, like raunchy jokes, when there's no real reason for it. I mean, I am the king of that, but for some reason, people don't like it as much when it's a girl doing it. And further, I've discovered that, unless the girl in question looks like a model, absolutely nobody wants to hear you even discuss sex, even in jest. Just recently, several of her (now former) friends snapped at her and cut her off, very bluntly telling her, "Mary, seriously, look at yourself, nobody wants to even think about you having sex, let alone hear you joke or give details about it. It's gross." Now, I understand boundaries and whatnot, so I kind of see their side, but some of these same people are the types to make jokes about anal rape in front of children, so it's more than a little hypocritical. We also both curse a lot, which, again, is okay if you're a guy but not if you're a girl.

I guess what makes her "annoying", really, is that she fails to pick up the cues that she's making people uncomfortable, so the cycle just keeps perpetuating herself. I feel pretty bad for her, honestly. But again, as I've said elsewhere, everyone has a choice in life: Willingly stifle yourself to make other people like you more, or resign yourself to being friendless. She's constantly going back and forth between "not caring" what anyone thinks, and crying that nobody gives her a fair shake.

I'unno. I kinda don't have any friends by choice, so I don't let things like that bug me as much, but I can see how it can be hurtful.

When people post nasty or disturbing stuff on Facebook without warning. Someone on Facebook posted a picture of some disgusting, HUGE fungus on this guy's neck, I wanna puke just thinking about it.

I've been getting constant aches and pains in my joints. But my knees, man. I maxed out on front squats today and they feel like they are going to rip open. This never happened until recently, I think the bone demineralisation is catching up with me.

How is that possible, Leo? I've seen pics of you and your wrestling buddies at bars or whatever. You don't associate with any of them?

Well, we get along, but I never see them except at shows, and beyond that, you have no idea how fake people are in that business. It's one giant high school clique scenario. I'm actually pretty UN-popular among a lot of the guys specifically because I don't try and cozy up to anyone. So, there's people I get along with, but I'd hesitate to call them "friends". Friends are people who will help you move, or let you crash at their place if you had a rough night or whatever. I don't really have anybody like that at the moment. Just "People I get along with".

Beyond that, most of my "real life" friends really hate how I don't simply take days off or time off from work to go hang out with them at the bar or whatever. I can't say I blame them, but they aren't the ones paying my bills. And I've never been a "go out" guy, anyway. Me and my wife "hang out" every day. That's fine.

Oh, also between constantly being surrounded by people at the gym and at shows, there's this constant "hum" of people noise in my head, which also makes me more likely to just be by myself a lot of times. Not that I hate people, but I never get a chance to be away from them. Last thing I wanna do on my down time is go be around more groups pf people, which is what all my friends ever wanna do. I'm boring.

People who put their full shopping baskets on the convyeor belt at work without emptying them. It makes putting items through just that little bit more awkward, but enough to give me the hump.

People who ask the same question every f***ing day.

One neighbour allways asks me: "Was your cat all night outside?"
I am going along with my cat, because we live in an apartment building and I
am afraid that someone could kidnap him cause of his shiny-good-looking fur.
(It feels like I got a Dog, but I love him so much )
It is frustrating not to yell at this neighbour......

Having that time of the month when I want to spend time with my BF. Granted, we still had fun yesterday, but we couldn't really take a walk, and I didn't feel my best yesterday. Usually, I try not to visit him when that happens, but it kind of happened unexpectedly the day before, so there wasn't anything I could really do. It sucked though, but it was nice to see him regardless.

Pretty much any annoying, loud/high pitched (Whistling) and repetitive noise (Snapping and Tapping).

-People having babies and then whining on about how 'haaard' it is. Stuff like that irritates me to no end because nobody forced them to have and keep a kid. It's always people who expect sympathy points on something they could have easily used a condom to prevent or adoption to give up. Good parents never whine like this, it's always the crappy ones that expected their kids to be a mini-me or are too permissive.

-Landlords in New York City wanting a minimum of $40,000 income to even consider taking that person as a tenant. But yet the apartments go for about $900- $1,000, so unless you are paying for some really expensive amenities, it shouldn't cost more then $17,000 a year at most. I'm not looking to move, just was curious because of an interest in NYC through TMNT and the fact that it does have a lot of fun nooks and crannies contained with it, so I entertained the thought. But dang, why do they need that much when at least some of the amenities should be covered by the landlord? There was only one place that didn't have that and had lower rent, but it required sharing a place. Ugh, no thanks.

-This one will be extremely weird. But the fact that I can't use Feliway or any closely related pheromone product for my cat because... it affects me too. Not in the idea of being high, but that with one accidental whiff, it shuts down any and almost all incentive to do anything. You know how you have a little anxiety to give incentive to do something, even if it's knowing you need to fold clothes? Well this takes that away and replaces it almost entirely with a sort of 'Everything's OK, it's all OK, you are safe, there is nothing to feel anxious about' feeling that makes it hard to do anything. And it lasts until it dissipates, which takes almost a half hour. I don't like using the stuff for this reason, which stinks because it's supposed to help the cat when she feels anxious. Plus it costs $20, which wasn't cheap. 'Species specific' my butt.

-Not being able to relax on Left 4 Dead Versus mode, without fear that someone will initiate a votekick you for doing something/not doing something and then calling you names over it before they do so. Versus mode is where you can play a team of four Survivors against a team of four Special Infected, and you switch back and forth through the rounds until that campaign is over and a team wins. It's fun, but sometimes you get someone who yells over the mic or gets on you for a mistake. Then it's no longer a way to relax and have fun, but becomes a group of folks who's played this game for over 1000 hours versus any lesser 'noob' who hasn't racked up that much yet. Sometimes I'm the designated 'noob,' sometimes some other poor slob is. But once 'noob' comes up, fun goes out the window.
