Man, whenever i listen to Queen, Peter Gabreil, Phil Collins, or some of my celtic music, i get all sorts of stuff going through my head.

For some insane reason, i was thinking of something where the guys HAVE a 'mom' (I get thrown back into time), but there's no violence. I wouldnt have Splinter like that! Hell no!

heh.. yeah. Creed, Linkin Park, Queen, U2, Enya, instrumental, etc etc... have that effect on me too. To suddenly get inspired to write deep or dramatic sort of fics or RPGs.

BTW... could you also move the osts with the U2 song lyric links to the Karoke section too? Thankies!

*bump!*

Well, after reading some of the threads in here, some people might appreciate having this back up to curse rant and rave about their current scholarly issues....

I'm freaking out about my speech i'm doing right now. Its turning more into some sort of expose to show on the evening news. I also have to learn how to use a laptop and powerpoint tonight for said speech.
I cant decide my classes for next semester because my Advisor has been out for eye surgery, and NOW he's at a math teacher's convention in Las Vegas! Not only that I also have a scene to act out, I got to find a monologue to memorize, play rehearsals to be a sloshed bargirl in the saloon of Hell, botany notes to rewrite and study if i dont wanna be stuck with this jerky teacher for a second time...
*takes a breath*
And, I have to go to my sensei and beg forgiveness for not going to class after giving us a big long spiel about cutting classes because of the weather and other things. I really want to get my blue belt so i can begin bo.

*phew* I feel much better now...

Oh yeah, i gotta get ready for my music final...I'm playing 'Angel' by Sarah McGlaughlan (I probly spelled it wrong) on guitar, and I'm singing along with it. Considering i've never played a guitar before this semster, I'm kinda nervous...

Ah, you're right Machias...that doesn't look like much fun.

I'm extremely stressed out right now 'cause I have an 8 page paper to write in French, and considering that this is my first year back in a French school since second grade, I really suck at grammar and spelling. This thing counts for a whole grade on my report card!

I've also got my first football game tomorrow, and I still can't seem to figure out how I got myself into this mess, considering that I'm normally not much of a fan of the sport.

Finally, my voice recital and exams are coming up too, and I always manage to get stage fright when I'm singing in front of more than one non-relative.

At least I don't have to worry bout final exams until first of June...

Let's just say that I can't wait to get back to the home and family for the summer.

Machias:

The feeling is mutual! Remember my speech on the Digital Special Effects I gave in March? Same thing! It's amazing how much you'll learn about an application when under pressure. Unfortunately, I spent too much time setting things up in PowerPoint, that I hardly had time to practice my speech.

My advice... Worry more about your speech. They grade that more than how fancy the PP looks.

I am starting to feel better cause I have my Newsletter nearly finished. So all that is left is figuring out Flash and Director for my interactive obituary project. (yes, and *interactive* obituary!)

One thought that keeps me going (we two actually). Stay focused, and it'll all be over for a long summer of bliss real soon!

Heh heh heh...I was actually thinking about reviving this thread today, but Machias's ESP kicks in once again. I feel your pain, fellow mutants, and since everyone else is venting, allow me to do the same

Lemme see...tomorrow, I've got my first physics midterm. I need to do homework for that class tonight, then study for that blasted test. Wednesday I've got a vector calculus midterm, also with homework due on the same day. And lastly, on Thursday, I've got a final draft due for my essay in composition. And to top it all off, I've got a meeting with my academic counselor on Wednesday. We're going to be discussing my possible change of major *sigh* This is gonna be hell week for me, folks...

But hang in there, everyone! We'll pull through. Then we can post here in peace

*Comes crawling into the forums, half-dead*

Hey guys, I would have told ya my news sooner, but our internet was unhooked last night.

I had planed to get up at 930 to get ready for my botany lab, but instead, I found myself waking at 1142!!! Needless to say, I freaked, as this was the same teacher who gave me trouble in that other class. I tried to find him, but he was in a meeting, and I had to prepare for my speech.
I never got to do the powerpoint thng like i had wanted. My roomate and our neighbor decided to get plastered like there was no tomorrow...
Anyways, I did pretty good on the speech, now i just have to make up a funny one, like an award acceptance speech or something.
My guitar and acyting stuff went well, and i got to Karate in one peice. I actually survived that (no death blows from sensei *she was in a fluffy mood cuz she brought her baby along*) and.....I think i got tested for either a blue stripe or my blue belt!!!! She had us do Fyuku kata San, and I lead the (japanese) counting for us. She smiled and told us to continue working on our punches.
I think last night was the most fun i've had in a good while. We polished our basics, and did balance exercises.

All in all, tuesday turned out a lot better than i expected....

*collapses again*

Well, I think I just failed my calculus midterm...not only was it hard, but it was a day after my physics one. But I'm glad to hear that everything went pretty smoothly with you, Machias Well, I think I'm going to sulk in the corner.
*walks to the corner but decides to weep instead of sulk*
