Eh, part of me thinks that we'd all be a fairly mellow crew if we hung out together IRL. Some people act like much bigger blowhards online than they are in reality. I imagine we'd all be a little less caustic if there were 'Drome Convention, if for no other reason than that the potential for being punched in the face if you're obnoxious offline is far greater.

I met some internet friends once at a con and most of them who seemed argumentative online were actually very tactful and loving. I know that's not the case with everyone but I still think it's worth giving a shot

People are awesome! If anyone ever decides to go to a con or some other nerdfest, I'd be happy to meet a group of you guys. Well, so long as you're not all kids

I'd feel funny being the only adult.

I can tell you honestly that I'm way less argumentative offline. Though I will admit I tend to be excitable and loud, which is a whole other type of annoying to most people. [Try as I might, I cannot control my voice volume. I'm somehow still loud even when trying desperately to be quiet.]

Yeah, everyone's a different case, but I've seen people who would yell at each other online interact offline without a problem.
